About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Pattern &amp; Stitching Master with strong expertise in women&rsquo;s Indian ethnic wear. The candidate must have prior hands-on experience in constructing and finishing traditional garments such as lehengas, Anarkali's, shararas, suits, blouses, and trousseau pieces.Key Responsibilities1. Pattern Making<ul><li>Create accurate paper patterns for new designs based on sketches, measurements, and samples.</li><li>Develop patterns specifically for Indian ethnic garments (lehengas, blouses, suits, shararas, ethnic gowns).</li><li>Apply correct grading, draping, fit, and balancing techniques.</li><li>Modify and refine patterns after fittings and feedback.</li><li>Maintain a well-organised library of master patterns.</li></ul>2. Garment Construction / Stitching<ul><li>Independently stitch high-quality ethnic garments with perfect finishing.</li><li>Guide and supervise junior tailors in construction of Indian wear.</li><li>Execute sampling and production as per design intent.</li><li>Handle intricate techniques required for ethnic garments (cancan placement, pleating, paneling, lining, fall, etc.).</li></ul>3. Fitting &amp; Adjustments<ul><li>Conduct trial fittings for samples and client orders.</li><li>Make precise alterations to achieve perfect fit.</li><li>Provide recommendations to enhance fit and garment structure.</li></ul>4. Quality Control<ul><li>Ensure finishing standards suitable for premium ethnic and trousseau garments.</li><li>Carry out quality checks for seams, lining, embroidery placements, and overall neatness.</li><li>Maintain consistency and accuracy across production.</li></ul>5. Collaboration<ul><li>Work alongside the Designer, Production Manager, and Embroidery Team to bring designs to life.</li><li>Provide technical inputs on construction and fabric handling.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Experience Required<ul><li>Mandatory previous experience in Indian ethnic wear (minimum 3&ndash;10+ years).</li><li>Strong knowledge of stitching techniques for lehengas, blouses, anarkalis, suits, shararas, and drape-based silhouettes.</li><li>Ability to interpret sketches and convert them into patterns.</li><li>Knowledge of industrial sewing machines (lockstitch, overlock, interlock, etc.).</li><li>Understanding of fabric fall, cutting methods, finishing, and garment construction specific to ethnic wear.</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to lead/mentor stitching staff.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;15,000.00 - &#8377;30,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
