If you&rsquo;re passionate about dentistry, eager to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity is perfect for you!Duties<ul><li>Prepare treatment rooms with all necessary instruments and materials, ensuring a sterile environment through proper aseptic technique.</li><li>Assist dentists during various procedures such as restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.</li><li>Take and develop dental X-rays , accurately documenting findings in electronic medical records (EMR systems) Dentrix.</li><li>Monitor vital signs and medical documentation to ensure patient safety throughout their visit.</li><li>Manage patient flow by greeting patients as a dental receptionist, scheduling appointments, and updating medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Maintain infection control protocols and ensure all dental equipment is properly sterilized and functioning correctly.</li><li>Support general dentistry procedures while demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical coding standards.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for managing patient records efficiently.</li><li>Experience with dental imaging techniques including X-ray and 3D scanner technology.</li><li>Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a dental clinic setting.</li><li>Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow during procedures.</li><li>Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles to provide compassionate care for young patients.</li><li>Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding to accurately document treatments.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, team members, and healthcare providers.
