 Job Purpose
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Provide timely and accurate financial information to senior management including technical and functional support with SAP ERP system administration related to Finance activities. Assist in the development Financial Operation functions. Perform all duties regularly including financial business intelligent (BI), aging reports, ensuring compliance with Finance Procedure and provides Accounts Payable services to clients such as invoice verification, payment authorization and processing. Reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers to identify improper charges, validate transactions and ensure accurate and timely payment of amounts due.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Major Accountabilities
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide financial trend analysis, reporting and advice to senior management
 </li>
 <li>
 Consolidate and report comprehensive aging analysis on selected accounts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide control account reconciliations for designated accounts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare management presentation reports to senior management on relevant financial issues as appropriate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that proper financial reporting system and accounting records are maintained in accordance with a sound internal control and governance framework.
 </li>
 <li>
 Facilitate the successful system implementation and support ERP system in the finance operation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collect business requirements on the account payable activities. Identify creative ways to eliminate non value added steps and streamlining the process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and be responsible for prepayment accounting, communicating with business managers as appropriate to ensure accurate reporting each period.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in working with the line manager to develop the business intelligence report to ensure that all types of account payable reports are available upon requests.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform payment processes for all KAUST payments, maintain the rejections and weekly bank reconciliation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Administer claim and P-cards payment processes and reconciliation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain the Rejection, Advances and Retention payments, process and clearance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Generate monthly reports for aged liabilities, outstanding exceptions, GRIR, and vendor's statement of accounts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Respond to all vendor inquiries.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provides consistent, high-quality service, complying with Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), escalating to Management as appropriate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fulfill operational needs, execute urgent requests, and handle multi-tasks upon request.
 </li>

 Studying towards or membership of a recognized international professional accounting. body recommended (SOCPA, ACCA, VAT Cert.)

 A minimum experience of 5 years in accounting role in a complex environment.

 The Engagement Specialist will play a pivotal role in identifying, building, and nurturing opportunities and relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, research institutions, companies, and entrepreneurs. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to engage various partners, driving the achievement of strategic objectives. This role will work closely with external partners as well as internal teams to create a dynamic ecosystem that supports the organization's innovation goals.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Develop and execute engagement strategies tailored to the nation&rsquo;s specific needs and priorities of KSA in technology and industrial sectors based on KAUST and the international partners&rsquo; resources.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and cultivate relationships with government agencies, research institutions, universities, industry associations, and other relevant organizations to facilitate collaboration and technology transfer.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand the interests, needs, and motivations of identified stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders and partners, addressing inquiries, providing support, and fostering collaboration opportunities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and maintain a database of contacts and interactions to track engagement efforts and outcomes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate partnership agreements, including negotiation, documentation, and implementation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in outreach activities to raise awareness of the hub's initiatives and attract potential collaborators and partners.
 </li>

 Monitor industry trends, policy developments, and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and challenges.

 Work closely with internal teams to understand KAUST's capabilities and offerings, and effectively communicate these to external stakeholders to generate new opportunities and expedite the cooperation.

 Track and report on key performance indicators, including partnership development, project milestones, and outcomes.

 Prepare regular reports on engagement activities, including key accomplishments, challenges, and opportunities.

 Maintain accurate records of engagement efforts, including meeting notes, correspondence, and partnership agreements.

 Assist in the preparation of presentations and materials for internal and external stakeholders, as needed.

 Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement initiatives, provide recommendations to make adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes.

 Candidates should be familiar with the development, supply chain, and frontiers of at least one of the following energy technologies, including but not limited to: green hydrogen production, synthetic fuels, energy storage, photovoltaics, wind power, carbon cycle, grid management, and power electronics.
