KBM, a reputed UK- based Chartered Certified Accountants firm part of a group of companies providing services in the fields of Accountancy, Taxation, Consultancy, Payroll, Automotive financial solutions to its UK Based clients with its Head Office in London having established its international office in Lahore, PakistanKBM invites applications for the position of Experienced Accountant to be based in our Lahore office to manage the work done for UK office..The Role<ul><li>Oversee and manage a team of bookkeeping</li><li>Oversee the delivery of quality information to senior managers and to the other departments within the practice</li><li>Build relationships throughout the practice to ensure cohesive working between bookkeeping team and departments such as accounts, payroll and tax.</li><li>Alongside the Director, identify and deliver process improvements and drive positive change, focusing on efficiencies and output.</li><li>Review of VAT returns, bookkeeping files and supporting schedules.</li><li>Ability to resolve internal and external queries arising from bookkeeping review.</li><li>Review of detailed management accounts.</li><li>Deliver training, guidance and development of the team .</li><li>Review timetables for timely bookkeeping/management accounts delivery</li><li>Preparation of FRS 102 1A standard accounts and FRS 105 accounts</li><li>Produce draft tax computations and a provision for inclusion in the accounts</li><li>Fulfill any relevant additional/ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.</li></ul>Excellent VAT knowledge to include:<ul><li>Cash Accounting</li><li>Invoice Accounting</li><li>Partial Exemption</li><li>Flat Rate Scheme</li><li>Margin Scheme</li><li>Export/Import VAT and Duty</li><li>Property Rules</li></ul>Person Specification<ul><li>Proven management and leadership skills.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and ability to successfully manage multiple tasks.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills; client service oriented.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Ability to priorities and meet deadlines.</li><li>Conscientious, self-motivated, resilient and goal oriented.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, quality and control.</li><li>Strong analytical ability and decision-making skills.</li><li>Effective in upward management.</li><li>Ability to develop new skills and understand new technology as required.</li><li>Excellent management accounting skills.</li></ul>Experienced in following accounting software<ul><li>Excellent knowledge of Xero essential.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Sage Line 50.</li><li>Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel essential.</li><li>Good knowledge of QuickBooks preferable but not essential.</li><li>Knowledge of other accounting software</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>UK based VAT &amp; Accounts bookkeeing: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
