</p><div><div>KCW Engineering Technologies, Inc. is recruiting for an<b> Electrical Distribution Designer</b> with a GIS background to assist in GIS creation and engineering design preparation of construction drawings for various electrical projects. Candidate must have electrical distribution design and BGE system knowledge.</div></div><div><div><b>
Responsibilities:</b></div></div><ul><li><div>
Electrical knowledge includes but not limited to power distribution (normal and emergency systems, lighting systems and controls, power studies, renewable energy design, and special systems).</div></li><li><div>
Complete fieldwork to field-truth construction drawings. Make sketches, take photos, measure conductor distances with a laser rangefinder.</div></li><li><div>
Convert GIS data to and from many different coordinate systems. Copy, edit and reconcile conflicts through enterprise version control software.</div></li><li><div>
Combine powerful GIS capabilities with engineering standards to create high-quality construction documents.</div></li><li><div>
Creating, editing, and updating point, line, and polygon features with complex relational databases. Import high-resolution CAD drawings into GIS feature classes with extreme accuracy.</div></li><li><div>
Ensure the highest quality product for our client.</div></li></ul><div><div><b>
Minimum Qualifications:</b></div></div><ul><li><div>
A minimum of 1-3 years' experience in Electrical Distribution Engineering and BGE systems.</div></li><li><div>
Microstation Experience.</div></li><li><div>
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.</div></li><li><div>
Detail-oriented individual.</div></li><li><div>
Strong communication skills, written and interpersonal communications skills.</div></li><li><div>
Collaborative with and inclusive of individuals of diverse backgrounds and geographic locations.</div></li><li><div>
Must be comfortable in both a field and office setting.</div></li></ul><div><div><b>
