Keeley Construction is looking to hire an <b>Interior Designer</b> to join our Building Group in St. Louis, MO.</p>
<p><b>
Primary Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Create interior design concepts using common and essential design and documentation tools.</li>
<li>Collaborate with a diverse team to arrive at the best interior design solutions for the client, within the practical constraints of budget, schedule, and quality.</li>
<li>Develop the 2d and 3d images and media necessary to convey interior design concepts and then present them to the client.</li>
<li>Specify finishes and furniture with a real-world understanding of their associated installation and maintenance.</li>
<li>Familiarity with LEED concepts and process, and other similar sustainability ratings systems.</li>
<li>Coordinate with other design and construction professionals to ensure proposed concepts can be practically executed.</li>
<li>Review submittals and shop drawings during construction.</li>
<li>Visit sites under construction to help ensure expectations and standards are being met.</li>
<li>Participate in industry conventions and fundraising events.</li>
<li>Communicate with local product and manufacturer representatives to understand and facilitate growing yours and the team's knowledge and awareness of interior design, materials, and systems.</li>
<li>Communicate with clients to understand their wants and needs.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Minimum Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design from an accredited program is preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in a design firm is preferred.</li>
<li>Must have an appreciation for design-build process, embracing the understanding of construction and maintenance practicalities as a necessary complement to interior design.</li>
<li>Knowledge of commercial interior design process and materials, as well as the codes and standards influencing it.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.</li>
<li>Strong graphic and presentation skills.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal communication skills.</li>
<li>NCIDQ certification (or on path to) is preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to travel on a regular basis in furtherance of project and client relationship development.</li></ul><br>
