What You'll Do

As an Intern at KEEN (KEENtern), you'll dive into the exciting world of footwear, innovation, and community! You'll get hands-on experience working alongside industry experts and contribute to shaping the future of KEEN.

The Social Media Community Intern will craft engaging content, manage scheduling and posting across platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, and engage with our community in the KEEN Utility Footwear category. The Intern will play an integral role in developing a social strategy across each community and will collaborate closely with creative teams across the company.

Essential Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Content Creation: Crafting engaging posts for various social media platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram) that align with KEEN Utility's voice and strategy.</li>
<li>Content Scheduling and Posting: Use Sprout Social to schedule posts and ensure a consistent online presence.</li>
<li>Community Engagement: Interacting with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in the KEEN Utility voice.</li>
<li>Monitoring and researching social trends.</li>
<li>Tracking the performance of social media posts and campaigns as well as prepare reports to summarize these insights.</li>
<li>Assisting with monthly editorial planning.</li>
<li>Assisting with monthly reels/TikTok shoots.</li>
<li>Work with other team members, such as the creative team or product team to ensure a cohesive and effective social media strategy.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li><div>Must be available for the duration of the 10-week internship program</div>
</li>
<li>Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university at the Junior, Senior, or Graduate level or have experiences in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field</li>
<li>Intermediate knowledge with social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram</li>
<li>Intermediate knowledge with video editing software such as CapCut.</li>
<li>Must be able to dedicate 40 hours/week toward the internship during normal M-F PST working hours.</li>
<li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials.</li>
<li>Strong organizational and prioritization skills.</li>
<li>Ability to learn new software programs.</li>
<li>Ability to solve problems with a positive attitude.</li>

What You'll Do

The Media Studio Intern will be hands-on in the studio where multiple projects across multiple sets are live daily. They will play an integral role in the execution of photography and video shoots that provide the visual marketing assets for KEEN Fan's to engage with the product visually throughout the company's channels.

Essential Responsibilities

<li>Assist in pre-production and organization of upcoming photo/video shoots.</li>
<li>Assist on set for studio and local location photo/video shoots as directed by the photographer/cinematographer.</li>
<li>Maintain and organize the studio equipment, gear and space.</li>
<li>Work with product stylist and sample team to secure necessary items for photo/video.</li>
<li>BTS Content Creation: Help the Keen Media Studio tell the story of how the content used across the brand is created for our Fans.</li>
<li>Collaborate with stakeholders across the entire brand.</li>

The Marketing Activation Intern aids in the development of trail running strategies and playbooks to grow the brand, sell thru product, and reach business objectives by supporting the U.S. marketing team and larger trail running team.

Essential Responsibilities

<li>Support the U.S. trail running marketing strategy by partnering closely with the U.S. Marketing Activation manager and larger trail running team.</li>
<li>Plan and execute local community events and marketing activations with run clubs, at trail races and run specialty retailers.</li>
<li>Create engagement strategies for trail runners across IRL, digital, social, and wholesale channels.</li>
<li>Support the KEEN trail running ambassador program.</li>
<li>Conduct competitor research and analysis and provide reporting on trail running throughout various marketing channels.</li>
<li>Coordinate product seeding.</li>
<li>Develop content strategy around trail running events and activations.</li>

What You'll Do

This role offers hands-on experience with the inner workings of an agile in-house legal department. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Legal, the KEEN Legal Intern (KEENtern) will learn how a mission-driven business collaborates, protects its ideas, and navigates the global legal landscape. As part of our small but high-impact team, this KEENtern will help support contracts, intellectual property, brand protection, regulatory compliance, corporate maintenance, and the many other legal considerations required to support an innovative and purpose-driven global footwear company. This internship is ideal for students who are thinking about a career as in-house legal counsel.

Essential Responsibilities
