Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team and support the church membership and communications! This vital role offers an opportunity to enhance member engagement and support communication efforts for the church and extended community. Your helpful orientation, organizational skills, and ability to multitask will contribute directly to our mission to provide ministries for Hearts Turning to God and Neighbor.Duties<ul><li>Maintain and update ShelbyNext membership database, including but not limited to profiles, groups, forms, interactions, and the online app</li><li>Maintain online registrations, event updates, track and contact registrants</li><li>Assist with member communications and ensure up-to-date information</li><li>Sending of church-wide email notifications, including weekly newsletter and special notices using Constant Contact</li><li>Create service fliers for Sunday, funerals, and other special events, including digital versions for online participants</li><li>Provide support for members and staff related to ShelbyNext membership software</li><li>Some reception desk duties</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications</li><li>Familiarity with email marketing campaigns (Constant Contact)</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively</li><li>Strong phone etiquette skills; experience with multi-line phone systems preferred</li><li>Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse community needs</li><li>Demonstrated ability with desktop publishing (Adobe InDesign preferred)</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment</li><li>Excellent proofreading skills and knowledge of print requirements</li></ul>Keller United Methodist Church looks forward to welcoming the right candidate to our ministry-minded team!Pay: $16.50 per hourExpected hours: 20.0 &ndash; 24.0 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
