Overview Perfect opportunity for an experienced professional that is looking for a part-time, remote position where you can utilize your extensive experience to assist a small CPA firm with client deliverables. This role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while engaging in meaningful tax and accounting projects.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist clients with responses to tax notices and tax inquiries</li><li>Provide routine bookkeeping services to clients</li><li>Assist CPA partner with preparation and review of individual, corporate and partnership tax returns, gathering documents from clients, etc.</li><li>Proven experience as a tax accountant or CPA with 4 or more years in public accounting with a tax focus</li><li>Extensive knowledge of tax experience including tax preparation, tax planning, and tax law interpretation.</li><li>Proficiency in the following software: Ultratax, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data</li><li>Experience working remotely with excellent communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Assist CPA partner with transitioning to electronic corporate workpapers, CRM system and documentation of workflow and SOPs</li></ul>Pay: Up to $75.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have 4 or more years working experience as a tax accountant in a CPA firm ?</li><li>Do you have a valid CPA license?</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
