<div>Upcoming Assumption Child Care Center is committed to providing a nurturing, safe, and educational environment for children. We are looking for a dedicated Childcare Teacher who meets the qualifications to serve as a backup Director when needed.</div>

<div>Responsibilities:</div>
<ul><li>Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Supervise and engage with children in a safe, caring environment.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with licensing regulations.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Communicate effectively with parents and staff about child progress.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assist with administrative tasks and step in as Acting Director if necessary.</li></ul>

<div>Qualifications:</div>
<div></div>
<div><b>&#9989; Required:</b></div>
<ul><li><b>Associate&rsquo;s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, or a related field OR</b></li></ul>
<ul><li><b>60 college credits, including at least 21 ECE-related credits.</b></li></ul>
<ul><li><b>At least one year (1,560 hours) of childcare experience in a licensed setting.</b></li></ul>
<ul><li><b>Ability to meet Illinois DCFS Director qualifications (to serve as a backup if needed).</b></li></ul>
<ul><li><b>CPR &amp; First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).</b></li></ul>

<div>&#9989; Preferred:</div>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in a relevant field.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience in a leadership role within childcare or early education.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Familiarity with state licensing requirements and center operations.</li></ul>
