About the Position</div><div>
The Solutions Engineer III responds to the customer RFP (Request for Proposal) with an effective logistics solution by drawing upon data analytics, industrial engineering, design engineering, an understanding of IT WMS (Warehouse Management System) functionality, knowledge of Operations, and the ability to present/correspond directly to the Customer effectively and succinctly.</div><div></div><div>
Functions</div><ul><li>
Select the best methods to store the customers product safely and efficiently</li><li>
Estimate the square feet needed for real estate to start a search for a building with the correct ceiling height.</li><li>
Industrial Engineering: process mapping, value stream mapping, process design, space planning and layout design (using CAD), index and scope creep measurement, and inventory &amp; slotting assessments.</li><li>
Create warehousing workflows and process on how to receive, pick, pack and ship customer goods based on the requirements</li><li>
Build labor standards and align IT WMS to support warehousing workflows and processes</li><li>
Select the appropriate material handling equipment to work with the solution</li><li>
Based on solutions selected, price the solution in the pro forma. Utilize Kenco Pricing model to process data, and coordinate with Real Estate, IT and HR for additional pricing data.</li><li>
Understand cost structures (Cost +, FVR [Fixed-Variable-Reimbursable], Unit Rates), Operations (shift structures, seasonality, direct vs. indirect ratio, staffing and training, etc.), and basic financial concepts and company thresholds.</li><li>
Apply labor rates of job classes to the hours from the processes and the rates for the management team and coordinators/clerks that support the direct labor</li><li>
Acquire costs for the storage equipment, forklifts, IT hardware, building improvements, etc.</li><li>
Adjust the pricing to the customer template. Obtain client profile data from sales department.</li><li>
Support the sales team with a description of the process, innovations used in the solution, and continual revisions.</li><li>
Present pricing proposals to internal and external customers. Present pricing information clients in a way that commands their confidence.</li><li>
Visit customer sites for gathering information with discretion and confidentiality</li><li>
Ability to assess the effectiveness of processes already in place</li><li>
ROI analysis</li><li>
Report billable hours to appropriate accounts in a timely manner</li><li>
Participate in operational audits</li><li>

About the Position</div><div>
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Powered Industrial Equipment. The Forklift Operator is responsible for utilizing the lift equipment to move, load, unload, and stack products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.</div><div></div><div>
Functions</div><ul><li>
Safely operate Powered Industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution such as reach, slip sheet, push/pull equipment, and drive-in pallet racking.</li><li>
Load, unload, and store products and/or materials</li><li>
Stack and/or transport materials and products to designated areas.</li><li>
Use equipment to scan product and print labels.</li><li>
Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as needed.</li><li>
Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.</li><li>
Complete cycle count as required</li><li>
Perform daily safely inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucks</li><li>
Ensure facility is inspection ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.</li><li>

About the Position</b></h1><p>
The distribution center general manager plans, directs, coordinates and implements all warehouse policies/procedures for the warehouse operation. In conjunction with these responsibilities, the leader will lead in accordance with Kenco&rsquo;s Guiding Principles and operate the facility using the Kenco Operating System (KOS / Shingo) methodology to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations, while maximizing profits by performing the following duties or through delegation to subordinates.</p><p></p><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Lead activities of site management and personnel to ensure compliance with defined operating system, corporate policy and site standard operating procedures, personnel policies and workload leveling.</li><li>
Maintain all safety, operations, quality, financial, legal and regulatory functions executed on site.</li><li>
Develop long-term planning and strategic initiatives for the site to ensure continued success and satisfactory relationship with customer.</li><li>
Responsible for site metrics associated with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Business Improvement Plans, Efficiency Programs, and Profit and Loss (P&amp;L) indices subsequent data analysis to develop reports for interpretation and communication for the customer, and site personnel.</li><li>
Ensures communication and feedback for site and customer relations, including management review.</li><li>
Provide coaching and mentoring to site management and personnel in support of bench strength to ensure sustainability of the business and facility.</li><li>

Analysis of operations on a continuing basis to make necessary improvements to ensure cross functional operating efficiencies in the warehouse. Analyzes throughput information, capacity planning, flow through and financial information.</li><li>

Qualifications</b></h1><ul><li>
Bachelor degree in Logistics or Business field or related required.</li><li>
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience within a distribution center and/or warehouse or related required.</li><li>
Prior experience leading a team of salary and hourly associates with a strong ability to build strong, positive rapport with associates in a team environment; successfully manages people to achieve performance goals; excellent people management skills including conflict resolution, coaching and developing others, promoting teamwork, and performance management.</li><li>
Experience with labor/workforce management systems (i.e. SAP, Red Prairie, High Jump, etc.) highly desired.</li><li>
Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt preferred but not required.</li><li>
Ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment; demonstrated ability to work effectively under stress and pressure; ability to manage multiple projects and meet specific goals and deadlines.</li><li>
