Key Accountabilities
<ul>
<li>All vehicles completely fueled and fluids topped, ready for service.</li>
<li>Vehicle interiors cleaned according to the contract.</li>
<li>Vehicle emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, body-fluid kit, first aid kit) fully stocked and functional.</li>
<li>Vehicles parked according to facility parking plan.</li>
<li>Any fleet damage documented and communicated to the manager.</li>
<li>Fuel island maintained and kept clean, any spills immediately contained and reported to the manager.</li>
<li>Work area maintained according to all OSHA and EPA regulations.</li>
<li>Shop area cleaned, mopped and trash disposed of daily.</li>
<li>Landscaping and lot cleaned and cared for as needed.</li>
<li>Post notices in vehicles as required by client.</li>
<li>Assist maintenance staff and manager as needed.</li>

<li>Office Staff may work indoors in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities, including offices and cubicle spaces equipped with a telephone and computer and may entail typing or looking at a computer screen.</li>

Utility Worker - Reno

<div>The purpose of this position is to supervise and lead a line maintenance team to provide comprehensive engineering and maintenance services covering the Automatic Train Control (ATC) system for Dubai Metro. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul><li>Lead a team of ATC technicians to carry out all level of preventive and corrective maintenance and minor modifications activities on automatic train control system covering System Management Centre, Vehicle Control Centre, central control (vital and non-vital), vehicle on-board equipment and lineside equipment.</li>
<li>Supervise the installation, servicing and repairing of signalling and train control systems located in operations control centre, signalling equipment room, station signalling equipment rooms, depot signalling equipment rooms, along trackside and on-board trains.</li>
<li>Ensure the team uses proper hand, machine, electrical and electronic tools and reference to technical drawings, signalling schematics, manuals, procedures and instructions when performing repair and maintenance work.</li>
<li>Supervise the replacement of faulty signalling equipment, handover/taken back to the electronics workshop for repair.</li>
<li>Knowledge and competence in technical standards will be regularly assessed.</li>
<li>Produce and maintain accurate maintenance records of automatic train control system and equipment performance, work accomplished and other information using a computerised maintenance management system.</li>
<li>Ensure the maintenance tools and equipment are in good condition.</li>
<li>Provide technical support to other staff for the implementation of complex systems or new projects.</li>
<li>Assist subordinates with the job familiarisation and to provide training and assessment where required.</li>
<li>Perform shift and emergency duties when required.</li>
<li>Drive work vehicles when responding to emergencies and when required on duty.</li>
<li>Perform and carry out duties as instructed/ directed by the ATC Engineer.</li></ul> 

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED 

<ul><li>IRSE license on railway signalling equipment would be an advantage</li>
<li>Sound knowledge of signalling principles, fixed block and moving block signalling systems, software based interlocking devices, point machines, induction and docking loops, cab signalling displays, on-board and wayside signalling equipment, would be a definite advantage.</li></ul> 

KEY SKILLS
<ul><li>Must have good eyesight and normal colour vision.</li>
<li>Strong analytical mind, and ability to grasp the complexity of a software based signalling and train control system.</li>
<li>Ability to use and calibrate various electronic test equipment and PC for the maintenance of central, wayside and on-board signalling equipment.</li>
<li>Ability to write simple technical reports, routine business correspondence, prepare method statements and drawings as required.</li>
<li>Possess good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.</li>
<li>Strong organisational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.</li>
<li>Hold a valid UAE driving license with good driving skill and experience.</li></ul> 

EXPERIENCE
<ul><li>Minimum 2 years work experience as a qualified electrical or electronics technician in maintaining and repairing computer based control and communication equipment, copper and fibre-optical based cables and interface equipment is highly preferable.</li>
<li>Preferably with 1 year of supervisory experience in supervising a team of technicians in carrying out maintenance activities.</li></ul> 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFCATION
<ul><li>Vocational trade certificate or ordinary diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent.</li>
<li>IRSE license on railway signalling equipment is will be an added advantage.</li></ul></div>
