Overview:We are seeking an Experienced Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in complex diagnostics and repairs on Ag and compact construction equipment.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Participates in required Service Training programs.</li><li>Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns with supervisor or management, documents in detail all performed repairs on work orders.</li><li>Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.</li><li>Maintains condition of Special tools and Shop equipment.</li><li>Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.</li><li>Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.</li><li>Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.</li><li>Management reserves the right to assign other duties or projects as necessary.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>6+ years of experience performing service repairs (John Deere Background Preferred).</li><li>Ability to perform complex repairs and required maintenance using Special tools and Shop equipment following Technical Manual procedures, JD Service Advisor and basic computer applications.</li><li>Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used to repair AG and compact construction equipment.</li><li>Sets an example in personal character, commitment, organization and operational skills, work habits, and the company&rsquo;s Safety Program.</li><li>Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.</li><li>Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>Valid CA driver&rsquo;s license is required.</li><li>Promotes a professional appearance and demonstrates the ability to interact and cooperate professionally with customers, company employees, and company managers.</li></ul>If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for hands-on work and possess the required skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as an Experienced Shop Service Technician.Job Type: Full-timePay: $37.00 - $49.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Profit sharing</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Buttonwillow, CA 93206: Relocate with an employer provided relocation package (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
