 Overview:
 
 
 
 Do you enjoy telling stories through data? Interested in solving client challenges with data? Ketchum Analytics is looking for a Manager, Consumer Strategic Research and Insights focused on working with clients across the healthcare ecosystem (pharmaceutical companies, health systems, insurers, government departments, etc.)!
 
 
 
 
 
 This is a perfect role for an experienced researcher or specialist that thrives working in a fast-paced environment. The person coming into this role should have expertise in a variety of research techniques, including but not limited to primary survey research, audience insights generation leveraging secondary databases, and omnichannel campaign evaluation, and be able to lead a team and manage projects from start to finish, as well as independently own programs.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Developing relationships with client and account teams. This includes regular and proactive one-on-one interaction with local account teams, and direct correspondence with account teams and clients
 </li>
 <li>
 Overseeing and managing all aspects of a project largely independently. From the day-to-day work, to overseeing junior staff to client relationships, to account relationships, billing and growth
 </li>
 <li>
 Development of original, large scale/global qualitative and quantitative research studies, including writing questionnaires/interview/focus group guides, overseeing data collection vendors, and analyzing the results etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Development of research, analytics and measurement proposals, such as audience research, media measurement, website auditing, competitive analysis, conversation analysis, survey research, social influencer measurement, or ROI analysis
 </li>
 <li>
 Leverage a robust tech-stack and secondary data sources to define and profile target audiences, predict trends, assess the industry landscape and identify white space opportunities for clients
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyzing full communications programming in channels such as paid media, social, media coverage, influencer, website, and consumer conversations to direct and evaluate marketing and communications impact/ROI
 </li>
 <li>
 Analysis and reporting of findings in a way that tells a concise, visually-appealing and clear story with the data and provides answers to the client&rsquo;s main questions/objectives and shapes future communications and marketing programming; Presentation of results to account team and client
 </li>
 <li>
 Serving as a specialist and advisor in research and analysis, to include:
 </li>
 <li>
 Staying up to date with trends, tools and techniques and counseling clients in the health space, account teams and other research team members on methodologies, tools and best practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Participating in or driving analytics projects and initiatives
 </li>
 <li>
 Developing new methodologies, reports or product offerings to meet existing client needs and to drive new business
 </li>
 <li>
 Determining the best methodologies and tools to use to solve client challenges and deliver impact to their business
 </li>
 <li>
 Work in collaboration with other specialty teams within the agency to assess and create successful social, digital and paid programs for the client.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 3 to 5 years of communications strategic insights, research, analytics and/or media analysis experience working with clients across the healthcare industry; advanced degree in a relevant field desired but not necessary
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong orientation toward client service and teamwork
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong business acumen and understanding of the communications landscape
 </li>
 <li>
 Management experience
 </li>
 <li>
 The ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent client management skills with the ability to communicate professionally and proactively
 </li>
 <li>
 A team mentality and desire to collaborate with co-workers across multiple geographies
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong statistical, writing, and public speaking/presentation skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding original/primary quantitative research and different secondary databases, social/media listening tools, etc.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Expertise in any or all of the following:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or Omniture
 </li>
 <li>
 Secondary databases, such as YouGov, Canvas8, comScore, Quid, GWI, MRI/Simmons
 </li>
 <li>
 SEO/SEM analysis and relevant tools
 </li>
 <li>
 Primary research, such as questionnaire writing, link testing, development of banner and tab plans, analysis of survey data
 </li>
 <li>
 Social media measurement and social media monitoring tools, such as Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Radian6, Sysomos, Talkwalker, etc.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, past training, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity and local geographic market data.
