<div>We are looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to help us further develop, modernise and implement our digital pension portals for customers. If you enjoy building intuitive user interfaces, improving shared front-end platforms and working in an agile environment, we would like to meet you.
Key About Your Role
As a Senior Front End Engineer within PDE, you use high-quality code to build and improve the online portals that pension providers use to interact with employers, advisors and participants. You develop new functionality on our modern PDE platform and help evolve existing customer portals and shared front-end building blocks towards our new front-end stack.
You will work on both customer-specific pension portals and shared components used across the PDE platform, including our shared-components and participant-components libraries. A key part of the role is contributing to reusable, configurable components that can be adapted per customer while keeping the codebase consistent, maintainable and scalable.
Together with Back-end Engineers, Test Engineers, Design Engineers and a Product Owner, you take full responsibility for a vital part of our digital engagement solutions. You analyse complex functional requirements and translate them into robust UI components and front-end architecture.
You strive to deliver solid and future-proof solutions by optimising performance, usability, maintainability and accessibility. You actively contribute to technical discussions, code reviews and front-end standards, and you support less experienced colleagues with your expertise.

Requirements 
You are an experienced backend engineer who enjoys working on complex systems and solving technical challenges together with others. You combine strong software engineering fundamentals with curiosity about emerging technologies and modern integration patterns.<ul><li>
At least 5 years of experience in backend software development.</li><li>
Strong professional experience with Java and enterprise application development.</li><li>

<div>We&rsquo;re looking for a Senior Network Engineer to help us evolve our network landscape from a strong Virtual Private Cloud foundation towards combined private and public cloud environments, with a clear roadmap towards future hybrid solutions. In this role, you will design, implement, and operate network infrastructures that support our growing SaaS platforms, both on-premise and in Microsoft Azure. 

Key About Your Team
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will join our Core-IT team of 22 professionals; currently responsible for a robust Virtual Private Cloud platform whilst actively expanding into Azure public cloud. The team operates across The Netherlands and India. Your primary base would be in Utrecht, working closely with 17 colleagues specializing in Networking, Virtualization, Backup, Security, Monitoring, and related disciplines.

Key About Your Role
You will support an IT infrastructure serving approximately 35 major clients in the pension and insurance sectors; impacting millions of users across Western Europe. Our platform consists of Dell and Cisco hardware, a fully virtualized VMware environment, and an emerging Azure landscape.
You will play a key role in building and shaping our Azure network foundations and preparing the organization for future hybrid connectivity. You will work at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and operations, contributing directly to the strategic evolution of our platform. Alongside this, the daily maintenance and operations of our existing Virtual Private Cloud. You will work with Cisco (ASA, ISR, Nexus, ACI), Nvidia (Mellanox), VMware, NSX, and Microsoft Azure networking services.
