Responsible for dispatching and tracking scheduled delivery activities to ensure a timely process and flow of materials. Schedules the movement of all inbound and outbound goods and services with shipping, receiving, security and other departments as necessary.
Essential Job Duties<ul><li>
Dispatch trucks and all orders to be processed.</li><li>
Ensure parts and services are delivered in a timely manner.</li><li>
Set routes with drivers.</li><li>
Set up paperwork for incoming vendors.</li><li>
Communicate with sales, warehouse, and delivery staff on delivery and routing issues.</li><li>
May have to handle UPS orders and customer pickups.</li><li>
Ensure that all vendors&rsquo; parts are correctly processed per company policy.</li><li>
Ensure that all returns to vendors are done correctly following company policy.</li><li>
Assume other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

Responsible for performing the day-to-day activities of the Dispatch Department in accordance with current federal, state/provincial, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing this facility, and as may be directed by the Dispatch Manager to assure that the Dispatch Department is run in a safe, efficient, and proper manner.
Essential Job Duties<ul><li>
Schedule drivers on routes daily.</li><li>
PTP and put up tickets looking for any rush or problem tickets that did not get handled.</li><li>
Handle any issues with pick tickets (RCE, PLRC) or parts that did not get delivered on time.</li><li>
Manifest the driver pick tickets.</li><li>
Communicate with external customers and provide a high quality service.</li><li>
Operate and run reports with the GPS system.</li><li>
Manage time off requests and Kronos.</li><li>
Schedule maintenance on vehicles and or break downs with mechanic(s).</li><li>
Sign off on bills for maintenance and schedule rentals when/if needed.</li><li>
Ensure we are compliant with drivers and paperwork for DOT.</li><li>
Handle discipline issues and any drivers under probation because of their MVR and LKQ points.</li><li>
Ensure the vehicle checklist and driver log in has turned in each day.</li><li>
New hire paperwork for driver (s) and training including LKQU, ISO and DOT.</li><li>
Order RMA, Hot core and core purchase books.</li><li>
Handle or delegate getting vehicle tags, Gas pins, vehicle keys, DOT inspection, DOT physicals, and emission inspections.</li><li>
Filing (vehicle records, PTO, etc.).</li><li>
Assume other duties as assigned. (Must add Manage safely laws, rules and regulations.)</li></ul>
Supervisory Responsibilities<ul><li>
Supervise the work of others, including planning, assigning and scheduling work, reviewing work and ensuring quality standards, training staff and overseeing productivity. May offer recommendations for hiring, termination and pay adjustments, but do not have final responsibility for making these decisions.</li></ul>
Minimum Requirements
Education &amp; Experience<ul><li>

3 years+ in specialized profession or equivalent; Proficient in specialty including prior senior lead experience.</li></ul>

Dispatch Supervisor- Night Shift

CROSS DOCK SHUTTLE DRIVER WITH WAREHOUSE WORK 
5:00 PM TO 12:00 AM
 
 
Operates in a safety manner a truck to deliver company transfers and customer orders, manually loads/unloads truck, verifies parts unloaded, obtains signatures from receiving location confirming accuracy of parts unloaded, and brings returns back to the warehouse.
Essential Job Duties<ul><li>
Drive safely a truck to transfer product between locations, wholesaler and drop box locations in outlying markets.</li><li>
Pick up truck at the warehouse and may load truck according to safety standards and to ensure product integrity. Verify the condition of the truck, the manifest and other paperwork associated with the delivery.</li><li>
Drive to the destination and physically unload the truck, verify parts unloaded, obtain signature of receiving location, confirming the accuracy of parts shown on the order and those received, and sign off on the integrity of what was loaded at the location.</li><li>
Make proper notations on the manifest or provide credit memos on parts being returned to the locations, wholesalers and drop boxes.</li><li>
Pick up stock purchase orders or buy out purchase orders from vendors on vendor &ldquo;fill in&rdquo; purchase orders and bring parts back to the location.</li><li>
Complete check in process when returning to the location to verify parts and paperwork.</li><li>
Turn in paperwork after check-in.</li><li>
Comply with established company policies and procedures. Initiate and support the continual improvement of LKQ&rsquo;s quality improvement program.</li><li>
May drive a tractor-trailer that requires a CDL Class A License (EZ Driver License in Canada).</li><li>
Pass random drug testing as required.</li><li>
Successful completion of annual training as assigned.</li><li>
Operate in compliance with applicable rules and regulations set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.</li><li>
Work with Loader Operator to stage cars or pull cars in yard properly</li><li>
Assume other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations. Must be at least 21 years of age.</li><li>
Must comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as Department of Transportation (&ldquo;DOT&rdquo;) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (&ldquo;FMCSA&rdquo;) regulations.</li></ul>

Hourly Pay: 0.58 CPM (or higher based on driving experience). Average yearly salary over $75K!

Required Qualifications
