Keystone Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Designer to join our Houston team.

Position Type: Full Time

Location: Houston, TX

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/Sedentary

Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits required

Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for the constructability, operability, and maintainability of project designs.</li>
<li>Carry out site surveys, gather information per job scope (with or without client), and walk down drawings to recognize tie points, field routing piping, tray, supports, etc.</li>
<li>Work closely with Lead Designers and Engineering teams to complete project deliverables.</li>
<li>Develop design configurations associated with various systems applicable to the project scope.</li>
<li>Provide comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective technical input into design development.</li>
<li>Prepare detailed design drawings in accordance with engineering design requirements and project deliverables.</li>
<li>Maintain and organize a Job Data Book containing all pertinent information used during the design phase of the project.</li>
<li>Review drawings regularly for completeness, quality, and adherence to standards.</li>
<li>Ensure all drawings are properly checked and backchecked for accuracy.</li>
<li>Prepare and/or direct the preparation of final drawing plots and copies for transmittal as part of project deliverables.</li>
<li>Maintain awareness of project schedules, budgets, and timelines.</li>
<li>Assist with project audits when required.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
<li>5 - 15 years of working experience</li>
<li>Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D to do grading and plan/profiles</li>
<li>Field / Walk-down experience</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution-oriented advocate</li>
<li>Attention to detail</li>
<li>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.</li>
</ul>
Preferred:
<ul>
<li>Associates degree in CAD</li>
<li>Previous Oil &amp; Gas experience</li>
<li>Experience with foundations and steel software</li></ul></div>
