As a fast-growing company with a dedicated team of over 100 employees, we strive to create an efficient and employee-friendly workplace.Job Summery:To prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for modular furniture projects by analyzing client requirements, materials and production processes, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency. With a strong focus on preparing accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Bill of Materials (BOM). This role requires sound knowledge of construction materials, working drawings, and estimation techniques.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain cost sheets, quotation records, and project-wise costing history.</li><li>Support management in preparing project budgets and profitability reports.</li><li>Coordinate with design team for drawings and specifications.</li><li>Work with purchase department to get updated material and vendor rates.</li><li>Prepare accurate and competitive quotations with detailed cost breakup.</li><li>Suggest alternative materials/finishes for cost optimization.</li><li>Prepare a Bill of Materials (BOM) for plywood/MDF/particle board, laminates, veneers, paints, edge banding, and fittings (hinges, channels, handles, etc.).</li><li>Study client requirements, architectural drawings, and modular layouts.</li><li>Maintain a database of costing, quotations, and project profitability.</li><li>Collaborate with design team for technical clarity.</li><li>Work with purchase department to update material costs.</li><li>Coordinate with production team to evaluate fabrication and installation costs.</li><li>Estimate costs for raw materials, labor, machine usage, installation, and logistics.</li><li>Prepare accurate quotations with complete cost breakdowns.</li><li>Suggest cost-effective alternatives to meet client budgets.</li><li>Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) for boards, laminates, veneers, edge banding, fittings, glass, and accessories.</li><li>Ensure material selection aligns with quality and budget.</li><li>Review client drawings, BOQ, and site measurements.</li><li>Understand design layouts, finishes, and specifications.</li><li>Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for architectural and interior projects based on drawings and specifications.</li><li>Support in site analysis, concept development, and design presentations.</li><li>Prepare layouts, plans, elevations, and sections for residential, commercial, or institutional projects.</li><li>Coordinate internal teams for smooth project execution.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li>Strong knowledge of modular furniture raw materials &amp; hardware</li><li>Familiar with CNC, edge banding, post-forming, hot/cold press, etc. processes</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic), ERP/Costing software</li><li>Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and analytical ability</li><li>Good understanding of design principles, materials, and construction techniques.</li><li>Strong visualization and presentation skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and team collaboration.</li></ul>Benefits:&middot;PF &amp; Health insurance&middot; Pay: Up to 20,000.00 per MonthHow to Apply:Interested candidates can email their updated CV, portfolio, and a brief cover letter to [Email ID-hrkgmiservices01@gmail.com] with the subject line &quot;Cost Estimator &ndash; [Your Name]&quot;.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;15,000.00 - &#8377;20,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Khurda, Orissa: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Diploma (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Interior design: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
