To manage and oversee the entire purchasing process for gold, diamond, silver, and other jewellery inventory, ensuring timely procurement, cost efficiency, and quality standards in alignment with the company&rsquo;s business goals.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Procurement Management:</li><li>Plan, source, and purchase gold, diamond, and other jewellery items based on sales trends and stock requirements.</li><li>Maintain regular coordination with suppliers, karigars, and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and consistent quality.</li><li>Inventory &amp; Stock Planning:</li><li>Monitor stock levels and reorder based on sales forecasts.</li><li>Coordinate with showroom and design teams for new collection requirements.</li><li>Maintain a balance between fast-moving and high-value inventory.</li><li>Vendor Management:</li><li>Identify and evaluate new vendors and artisans to expand sourcing channels.</li><li>Negotiate rates, payment terms, and quality parameters.</li><li>Maintain strong professional relationships with existing suppliers.</li><li>Documentation &amp; Record Keeping:</li><li>Maintain purchase orders, bills, and vendor ledgers accurately.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation for GST, hallmark, and vendor compliance.</li><li>Coordination &amp; Reporting:</li><li>Work closely with accounts and inventory departments for purchase entries and stock valuation.</li><li>Submit periodic reports on purchases, vendor performance, and cost trends to management.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Deep understanding of jewellery categories (gold, diamond, silver, gemstones)</li><li>Knowledge of market trends, karigar rates, and hallmarking standards</li><li>Strong analytical and planning skills</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Minimum 5-10 years of experience in jewellery purchase management is mandatory.</li><li>Experience with retail jewellery brands or wholesalers will be an advantage</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;25,000.00 - &#8377;40,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
