 Khazna launched in 2020 with a mission to improve the financial well-being of the underbanked, who have little access to formal financial services by providing access to convenient, effective and secure smartphone-based financial services. Khazna has received the Central Bank of Egypt&rsquo;s first prepaid card license and aims to become the go-to neobank for underbanked consumers across the Middle East. In the next phase of its journey, Khazna is looking to continue scaling up its operations in Egypt and to launch its operations in Saudi Arabia.

 About the Role
 
 
 
 
 We&rsquo;re looking for an experienced Animation / Motion Director to lead the creative development, production, and execution of high-impact motion content across all digital platforms. This role combines creative vision, storytelling, and hands-on expertise in animation and motion design to bring brand narratives to life in a dynamic and visually compelling way.
 
 
 You will drive the creative direction of all animated and motion-based assets and collaborate closely with graphic designers, content, brand and product to elevate our visual identity and ensure every piece of content feels cohesive, premium, and on-brand.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 Creative &amp; Strategic Leadership
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Own and develop the creative vision for all motion and animation content across platforms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Translate brand strategy and marketing objectives into compelling animated narratives and motion systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop visual storytelling frameworks, animation styles, and motion guidelines that strengthen brand identity.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Content Production &amp; Direction
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead the end-to-end production of animation projects (2D/3D, motion graphics, character animation, explainers, digital ads, social content, product animations).
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop storyboarding, animatics, visual treatments, and final execution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review all motion assets before release, ensuring consistency, craftsmanship, and brand alignment.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Collaboration
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Collaborate cross-functionally with graphic designers, content, social media, product, and marketing teams to ensure motion content meets business goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage timelines, workflows for multiple projects simultaneously.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Innovation &amp; Quality Control
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Stay on top of animation, motion design, and visual storytelling trends, bringing new ideas and techniques to the brand.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement best practices for motion design, animation pipelines, asset organization, and file delivery.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all outputs maintain world-class quality, creativity, and technical precision.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications &amp; Skills
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 7&ndash;10+ years of experience in motion design, animation, or creative direction, ideally in a fast-paced agency or in-house creative team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Expert in After Effects, Premiere, Cinema 4D/Blender, Photoshop, Illustrator, and animation/motion workflows.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality motion work, storytelling ability, and creative direction.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of brand identity systems and how motion enhances brand expression.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver on tight timelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in product animations, UI motion, or app interaction design.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with sound design direction.
 </li>
 <li>
 Background in illustration, character animation, or 3D modeling.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of emerging motion trends (AI motion tools, procedural animation, real-time rendering).
 </li>
