As the Production Control Planner, you will provide shop orders and information from the production plan to various departments using shop load and capacity metrics. You will ensure our commitments to internal and external customers are met. Perform production control duties to ensure commitments to internal and external customers are met.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Your Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Understand current shop load and capacity to create capacity plan to improve OTIF</li><li>
Using master schedule and various sources, provide production schedule for manufacturing, sub assembly and final assembly department</li><li>
Evaluate incoming customer orders and provide lead time, quotes and commitment dates for production</li><li>
Maintain the Master Schedule by gathering information from all departments through production meetings;</li><li>
Work with engineering , manufacturing and final assembly departments to ensure critical deadlines are met;</li><li>
Generate shop orders in the Company&rsquo;s Enterprise Resource Planning system to fill the demand</li><li>
Revise due dates on shop orders to reflect shifts in demand and to keep production schedule current;</li><li>
Maintain shop order data: investigate discrepancies, resolve and close shop orders where necessary;</li><li>
Monitor and communicate progress of projects, customer orders and other assignments to appropriate parties;</li><li>
Acknowledge and execute Engineering Change Requests regarding process orders and supporting components;</li><li>
Generate and track shop orders to support the RMA, NCMR, ISR and Customer Down processes;</li><li>
Additional duties and responsibilities as applicable.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Your Profile:</b></div><ul><li>
Associate or Bachelor degree; Minimum of five years of planning experience in manufacturing or operations.</li><li>
Experience with ERP systems</li><li>
Strong communication and networking skills across all levels of the organization.</li><li>
Demonstrates ability to work effectively and collaboratively in teams, across functional lines and with internal and external customers.</li><li>
Strong analytical problem-solving skills. Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.</li><li>
Able to develop alternative solutions through communications with other departments</li><li>
Self-motivated to set and achieve challenging goals.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
