Technical Support Representative

About This Role
 
This position is for a staff Production and Technical Service Representative who is under moderate supervision. Responsible for troubleshooting technical problems and issues, determining technical solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommending actions to customers, customer service representatives, sales representatives or field staff for coordinated product solution. Assists in orienting, training, and assigning work of technical/business support employees.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
<ul>
<li>Provide technical support via telephone, email, or chat.</li>
<li>Follow predefined procedures to identify, evaluate, solve and escalate product-related issues.</li>
<li>Help to reduce technical field installation time and application errors.</li>
<li>Ensure accuracy of technical information provided to customers.</li>
<li>Provide timely solutions to technical field problems requiring attention to detail.</li>
<li>Answer incoming phone calls regarding issues with Fire Alarm and Detection products. (Approx. 15-20 calls/day)</li>
<li>Identify and document the problem summary and description as described by the customer as well as record the call details in the Customer Relations Management (CRM) tool following the documented processes.</li>
<li>Works under general supervision to provide product and technical support.</li>
<li>Responds to basic customer inquiries related to installation, modification, upgrade, maintenance, and repair of the company products or equipment purchased.</li>
<li>Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, with assistance from TSS, STSS, or TS Engineer.</li>
<li>Develops a general understanding of entry-level products and troubleshooting processes.</li>
<li>Completes product e-learning courses for entry-level or over-the-counter products.</li>
<li>Attends any relevant instructor-led training.</li>
<li>On-call rotation after 1yr of employment</li>
<li>Late shift rotation, 9-6 Mon-Thurs and 8-5 Fri, after 1yr of employment</li>

Basic Qualifications

 About This Role
 
 
 
 Kidde Global Solutions Residential Fire Safety (Kidde) - Engineering Team, is seeking a technical project manager (TPM) to lead projects and cross-functional teams through the development process. As a technical leader on new product development, the applicant will be expected to take ownership of the product development, working closely with the various functions to achieve the business objectives. This will include setting up technical team meetings, tracking key deliverables, mitigating risks / issues, and steering the team through technical decisions. The applicant will interface with the project manager, product manager, and senior leadership regarding the project status.
 
 
 You will be given the opportunity to grow and develop your engineering and leadership skills as you will play a pivotal role in taking new products to the market, transitioning from definition/requirements, conceptualization, execution, and verification and validation of the product.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities

 Own detailed engineering project plans, task breakdowns, and schedules across hardware, firmware, software, mechanical, and test disciplines.

Job Description
 Reporting to Kidde’s business unit Presidents for Commercial & Residential Fire, this role provides executive administrative and business support to ensure the effective and efficient operation of these offices. Providing support to these presidents and other executive leadership team members, the assistant is a critical interface with Kidde’s executive leaders and internal and external customers.
 
The selected candidate must be professional, energetic, detail-oriented and capable of anticipating needs of the leadership team. Someone who enjoys problem-solving and rises to challenges with a positive, can-do attitude while exhibiting strong judgement will do well in this role.
 
Specific responsibilities include creating detailed agendas, managing multiple executive calendars, arranging domestic and international travel, organizing and managing corporate events. At our headquarters office located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, the ideal candidate must have the capability to manage and troubleshoot technological arrangements for meetings and events including connecting to a variety of systems and media platforms with seamless execution.
 
This position requires a highly organized and skilled professional who can handle heavy calendar management with shifting schedules in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of urgency. This position requires someone who can work on multiple projects simultaneously. Timely and accurate work is essential for achieving success in this role.
 
Job Responsibilities

<li>Actively review and prepare for precise execution of the schedules for several senior executives, including availability of advanced materials, room scheduling, conferencing equipment set up and other materials as required.</li>
<li>Plan, review and handle complex and dynamic travel itineraries, including international. Renewing passports and visas as needed.</li>
<li>File expense reports in a timely manner and reconcile monthly statements.</li>
<li>Demonstrate advanced competence in digital and automated tools and solutions to minimize paper and deliver office efficiencies.</li>
<li>Adapt and respond quickly and appropriately to changes in schedule, travel, etc. to deliver world-class support.</li>

Basic Qualifications
