Summary of Essential Job Functions
<ul><li>Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties</li>
<li>Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)</li>
<li>Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment</li>
<li>Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...</li>
<li>Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)</li>
<li>Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse</li>
<li>Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment</li>
<li>Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures</li></ul> 

At a Glance
<ul><li>Certifications Required: CDA or RDA.</li>
<li>Additional Certifications: X-ray certification, Sealant polishing &amp; Nitrous Certification is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience: No previous experience required but must have Dental Assistant certification</li>
<li>Job Type: Full-time</li></ul> 

Compensation and Schedule
<ul><li>Salary: Starting at $22.00 depending on certifications. Additional increases for experience</li>
<li>Bonus Pay: up to $600 additional per month</li>
<li>Schedule: On-site. Monday - Friday</li></ul>
