In this role, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for preschool-aged children, helping them develop essential skills and a love for learning.<ul><li>Responsibilities</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with 10-minute breaks, lunch breaks, filling in classrooms when needed, and relieving staff at the end of their shift.</li><li>Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for all students.</li><li>Communicate effectively with colleagues.</li><li>Assess children's developmental needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.</li><li>Foster literacy education through creative activities and interactive learning experiences while filling in classrooms.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and classroom activities.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Twelve or more Units in Early Childhood Education.</li><li>Experience in implementing lesson plans and curriculum for preschool-aged children.</li><li>Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff (including lead/co-teachers).</li><li>Knowledge of special education practices is a plus but not required.</li><li>Ability to create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning and positive behavior.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.75 - $19.50 per hourExpected hours: 35 &ndash; 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
