Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners during their critical early childhood years. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional development, and foundational skills. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and child welfare, ensuring each child&rsquo;s individual needs are met with care and professionalism.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans focused on toddler care, literacy education, and early intervention strategies.</li><li>Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration, social interaction, and physical activity through teaching physical education and play-based learning.</li><li>Manage daily classroom routines, including meal times, naps, diapering, and transitions, ensuring a safe and nurturing space for all children.</li><li>Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and support children&rsquo;s emotional development.</li><li>Assess each child's developmental progress regularly through observations and standardized testing where applicable; tailor lesson plans to meet individual needs.</li><li>Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and support ongoing child welfare initiatives.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and lesson plans in compliance with licensing standards.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior classroom experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential; experience specifically with toddlers is highly preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, including Montessori methods or other early childhood education frameworks such as preschool experience or private school experience.</li><li>Familiarity with curriculum development that incorporates literacy education, math concepts, and classroom management techniques tailored for young children.</li><li>Experience working with children who require special education or early intervention services is a plus.</li><li>Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.</li><li>Certification or training in childcare or early childhood education is required; additional credentials in behavior management or tutoring are advantageous.
