They plan and implement educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development while ensuring children's well-being and safety.Job Title: Preschool TeacherRole: Full-time/ OnsiteWork Days: Monday to SaturdayTimings: 08:30 AM to 2:30 PMLocation: Sector 49Job Responsibilities:Classroom Management<ul><li>Create a nurturing environment.</li><li>Ensuring children's records, teacher&rsquo;s corner is updated with accurate information.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment, welcoming for children.</li><li>Display boards and children&rsquo;s work is always updated.</li><li>Ensuring children's bags and belongings are neatly stored away and mindfully packed everyday for return to home.</li><li>Ensuring meal arrangement is led on time.</li></ul>Learning Engagement<ul><li>Adhere to KKPS annual planner, ensuring monthly planners are executed as per the lesson plans provided by the academic team.</li><li>Adjusting lesson plans as per the need and interests of children if required.</li><li>Providing seven areas of learning environment as per EYFS curriculum for children.</li><li>Expose children to a variety of learning spaces like outdoor, indoor area play, splash pool and role play areas.</li><li>Encourage kids to explore, participate in activities and develop a curious side of their nature.</li><li>Help children develop emotionally and socially.</li><li>Use diverse teaching aids and tools such as visual aids, storybooks and educational toys.</li><li>Use different educational activities to improve kids motor skills, cognitive skills, hand-eye coordination, gripping, sensory activities etc.</li><li>Keep a record of each child&rsquo;s learning and carry out child observations to mark the development milestones of each child.</li><li>Preparing Learning Journeys and report cards.</li><li>Execute school initiatives</li></ul>Health &amp; safety compliance<ul><li>Carrying out risk assessment for classrooms and keeping the office informed for corrective measures.</li><li>Ensuring children are always in the ratio of adult supervision.</li><li>A child should always be attended by an adult.</li><li>Always be informed about allergies and illness of the child.</li><li>Incidents should be reported in a timely and transparent manner.</li><li>Keeping children in hygienic and safe conditions. Ensuring classrooms are naturally ventilated during the day and are kept odour free.</li><li>Ensuring children are served fresh and hygienic meals.</li><li>Children washroom practices need to be attended promptly. Ensuring facilities are cleaned and maintained by nannies.</li></ul>Communication with parents<ul><li>Provide an update of each child's day, including meals, and educational activities daily.</li><li>Use a parent communication app. As per the guidelines.</li><li>Always be updated with the child's progress, meal, care, schedule requirements.</li><li>Encourage parent Involvement in events and school initiatives.</li><li>Make care calls to the parents regularly about the child's progress, behaviours and achievements to better understand their needs.</li><li>Schedule regular meetings with parents (PTM) to discuss their child's progress and how they can help at home.Be able to conduct parent-teacher meetings successfully by handling concerns professionally</li><li>Address behavioural or developmental concerns with parents sensitively. Maintain a positive and collaborative relationship with families.</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and progress.</li></ul>Additional responsibilities<ul><li>Coordinate and participate in school events.</li><li>Help in preparing centre displays.</li><li>Provide substitute assistance in the absence of other team members.</li></ul>Educational Qualifications:<ul><li>10+2 (Higher Secondary education) with a certification in Early Childhood Education or Nursery teacher training (NTT)</li><li>Graduation in any discipline.</li><li>First Aid and CPR Certification (optional)</li></ul>Work Experience:<ul><li>Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Preschool.</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Patient, nurturing and love for working with children.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Mobile and social media savvy. Should be confident in using parent communication app.</li><li>Be able to work on MS-office with basic skills for developing planner and schedules.</li><li>Ability to come up with engaging and innovative teaching methods.</li><li>Creativity and ability to prepare and design display boards and decorations.</li><li>Strong organizational, time management skills and able to carry out multiple tasks at a time.</li><li>Being able to keep up with the energy levels of young children throughout the day.</li><li>Disciplined and well groomed.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹11,882.90 - ₹26,576.14 per monthWork Location: In person
