If you are seeking a culture that is unique, fun and always improving, give this opportunity a shot!The Administrative Professional we are looking for has a heart for children, and a relentless commitment to serve our team.Qualifications:<ul><li>Certificate (CDA) or Degree in early childhood or primary education is a preference</li><li>Classroom Teaching/Leadership experience in an early childhood setting, minimum 2 years experience.</li><li>Evidence of leadership or management in past employment</li><li>Knowledge of teaching principles, practices, and procedures</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech</li><li>Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds. Physical stamina -- must be able to bend, stand, sit on the floor, etc.</li><li>Must meet basic requirements of a child care regulatory agency to maintain a safe environment for children</li></ul>Duties and Responsibilities:Must be able to work both open 6AM, mid and closing 6:30pm shifts during the week, Monday-Friday.<ul><li>Positive attitude and willingness to improve are must have qualities for our team.</li><li>Ability to relate positively with young children</li><li>Ability to effectively conduct activities with young children and to effectively supervise children</li><li>Ability to maintain the utmost self-control and patience as well as exhibit a positive tone and behavior with the young children, and your teammates at all times</li><li>The good judgment to notify supervisors of anything that merits their attention</li><li>Strong verbal/oral communication skills. The ability to communicate with students, parents, and others effectively and professionally</li><li>Solid written communication skills</li><li>Ability to exercise sound judgment particularly in a crisis situation</li><li>Knowledge about the social, emotional and developmental needs of young children based on education, past work experience, or as a parent or caretaker of a child</li><li>Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in the workplace including the ability to communicate with students, parents, and others effectively and professionally</li><li>Flexibility &amp; Adaptability</li><li>Position will be a front desk office position, assisting the Directors and Owners of the Pre-School in the growth and operations of the school</li></ul>Please submit resume and work experience before consideration and interview process.
