<div><p>Kidwell is seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the role of Mission Critical (Data Center) Apprentice Electrician in the<b> Kansas City Market </b>for three to four months. After that commitment is filled, <b>candidates must be willing to travel to other Data Center locations.</b> This position is open to both experienced apprentices and those new to the trade. For entry level apprentices, we have a formal training program designed to help teach apprentices the trade. For experienced apprentices, we have a dedicated Development Coordinator to ensure your skills are being developed as you prepare for your Journeyman&rsquo;s Exam.</p><br>

</p><p><b>What You&rsquo;ll Do</b></p>
<ul><li>
Assist Journeyman Electricians with installing and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment</li></ul>
<ul><li>Earn competitive wages and overtime and must be able to work multiple Saturdays and possible Sundays.
</li></ul><ul><li>Perform daily responsibilities that include</li></ul>
<ul><li>Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit</li></ul>
<ul><li>Drill holes for wiring and pulls</li></ul>
<ul><li>Electrical metering and troubleshooting</li></ul>
<ul><li>Gather tools and supplies to be used at work site</li></ul>
<ul><li>Install fixtures</li></ul>
<ul><li>Create and maintain a safe work environment, meeting or exceeding OSHA regulations and project safety requirements</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assist our cabling and special systems teams when needed to install, configure and troubleshoot low voltage electronic systems including: nurse call, CCTV, access control, sound systems and audio-visual systems.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Opportunities to take on a variety of other tasks based on skill set and interests</li></ul><br>

Do You Have What it Takes?</b></p>
<ul><li>
Candidates must possess a current State of Nebraska Electrical Apprentice License. If not currently licensed, candidates must apply before starting work.
</li></ul><ul><li>Associates degree in electrical technology (or similar field) <i>preferred but not required</i></li></ul>
<ul><li>Field experience as commercial electrical apprentice <i>preferred but not required</i></li></ul>
<ul><li>Experienced in Mission Critical (Data Center) work or commercial industrial electrical work <i>preferred but not required</i></li></ul>
<ul><li>Candidates must have good leadership and people skills Ability to pass physical exam, drug screening, and background check (One Source 2+ or equivalent level).
</li><li>Must maintain a valid driver's license</li></ul><br>

</p><ul><li>Assists and reports to Senior Cabling Technician in the installation and diagnostic maintenance of premise cabling equipment according to contract and customer needs</li><li>
 Responsible for installation, termination, and testing of different copper or fiber optic low voltage cabling systems.</li><li>
 Assist with installation of cable trays, racks, and other support structures</li><li>
 May be responsible for grounding and bonding</li><li>
May be responsible for installation of network switches</li><li>
Learn and retain a basic working knowledge of company sales products</li><li>
 Will work with Telecommunications Technicians and installers on projects as needed</li></ul></div><div><br>

</div><ul><li>Candidates preferably will possess a Bicsi Technician accreditation or equivalent or 4 years of experience</li><li>
 Candidates must possess a current State of Apprentice License or apply for one upon employment

</p><ul><li>Work with the project/area/package Foreman to coordinate, plan, and complete job requirements</li></ul>
<ul><li>Supervise and train apprentices on your project/area/package
</li></ul><ul><li>Effectively prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects/areas/packages
</li></ul><ul><li>Work effectively with the general contractor, trade partners and other contractors on-site to maintain project timelines
</li></ul><ul><li>Install and repair electrical systems and equipment within the scope of the job
</li></ul><ul><li>Create and maintain a safe work environment, meeting or exceeding OSHA regulations and project safety requirements</li></ul>

<ul><li>Experienced in Mission Critical (Data Center) work or commercial industrial electrical work preferred.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills are required</li></ul>
<ul><li>Must possess good leadership and people skills</li></ul>
<ul><li>Minimum of 4 years of field experience is preferred</li></ul>
<ul><li>Candidates must have a driver's license</li></ul>
<ul><li>All candidates must be able to pass a physical exam, criminal background check, and drug screening (One Source Level 2+ or equivalent level)</li></ul>
