Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team for a summer internship supporting our Workplace, Health, and Hospitality Brands (Kimball International: Workplace &amp; Health and Kimball Hospitality). This position is designed for college-level students who have a passion for marketing and branding. The intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing strategies, campaign planning, communications, and implementation contributing to the enhancement of our brand presence.

Responsibilities:

Hospitality Brand Focus
<ul>
<li>Assist with marketing campaigns and projects: generate engaging content (graphics, photos, etc) for variety of outputs including but not limited to social media, website, literature, and other promotional materials related</li>
<li>Support showroom staging and hospitality tours</li>
<li>Contribute to social media: work closely with the marketing team to create innovative ideas, content creation, scheduling, and engagement strategies that align with our brand's messaging and target audience to improve metrics</li>
<li>Conduct market research: gather market data on industry trends in interior design and the hospitality industry, as well as competitors' activities to identify potential opportunities or areas of improvement.</li>
<li>Maintain project documentation: keep track of project progress by maintaining records as projects progress during the internship period</li>
</ul>
Workplace &amp; Health Brand Focus
<ul>
<li>Assist with marketing campaigns tailored to the workplace and health sectors
</li><li>Contribute to social media: work closely with the marketing team to create innovative ideas, content creation, scheduling, and engagement strategies that align with our brand's messaging and target audience to improve metrics</li>
<li>Convert images for web optimization: work with the brand digital team to resize and convert images according to outlined plan</li>
<li>Review brand standards and resources: work with the brand team to identify and update existing product resources to align and adhere to brand standards</li>
<li>Facilitate case studies: work with brand team to complete case study projects including communication, story development, wireframing, and deployment
</li><li>Assist with website support: work with the digital marketing team on SEO, analytics, reporting, and other optimization efforts such as filters and search functions</li>
<li>Maintain project documentation: keep track of project progress by maintaining records as projects progress during the internship period</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Currently enrolled in a college-level program related to marketing (or relevant field)</li>
<li>Strong creativity and organizational skills with an eye for detail
</li><li>Proficiency in Adobe and Canva programs are helpful</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and their best practices is desirable</li>
<li>Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously</li>
</ul>
