Our Irvine office seeks a qualified, highly motivated Associate Attorney to join our fast-paced team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is willing to take on a broad range of transactional and litigation matters covering both business and real estate. This role requires strong analytical and writing skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to our clients. We are a client-centered firm and looking for an Associate who enjoys interacting with clients daily and able to form long-term business relationships.
Compensation: $100,000 - $160,000 Annually (DOE)

Responsibilities: 
<ul><li>
Counsel clients on landlord tenant issues</li><li>
Review and advise on the enforceability of lease provisions
</li><li>Provide legal advice through phone consultations, emails, and video conferences</li><li>
Draft legal documents, letters, and notices
</li><li>Research applicable affordable housing regulations</li><li>
Attend industry events to increase firm visibility and increase business development</li></ul> 
Qualifications: 
<ul><li>
J.D. and an active California Bar License
</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience
</li><li>Strong oral and written advocacy skills</li><li>
Strong legal research skills</li></ul> 
Preferred Experience: 
<ul><li>
Knowledge of landlord/tenant law</li><li>
Familiarity with affordable housing programs (e.g. HUD, Section 8, tax credit housing)</li><li>
Experience in the rental housing industry</li><li>
Client training and public speaking experience</li></ul>

Schedule: 
This is a full-time, exempt position. Standard hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The firm offers an in-office/hybrid work model for select positions, with onboarding and training conducted in-office as required.
