** Internship for class credit, resume and experience only **INTERVIEWING FOR ARCHIVAL INTERNSHIP 2026-2027 Current college students or new graduates strongly preferred!This is 1-2 days per week commitment for 3-5 months.Accomplished Photographer/ Director whose work has been in every major magazine from Vogue to Wallpaper, shot and directed for major clients not just self tests but an actual seasoned photographer who has experience.Job Summary :The Photo Archivist is responsible for organizing, preservation and editing of the photographic content/archives and video.Responsibilities :Archiving of various work which would include but is not limited to:<ul><li>Managing ARCHIVAL Negatives, slides, photographs, tear sheets, and polaroids</li></ul>FORMER INTERNS HAVE GONE ON TO WORK FOR:<ul><li>CONDE NAST</li><li>HBO MAX/JUSTICE LEAGUE</li><li>JPL/NASA</li><li>SAMSUNG</li><li>SONY PLAYSTATION</li><li>Hourglass Cosmetics</li><li>The Outset</li><li>BCBG</li><li>Wet n Wild Cosmetics</li><li>L'Oreal/NYX</li><li>Walmart (Marketing)</li><li>Reformation</li><li>Forever 21</li><li>SMASHBOX STUDIOS</li><li>SMASHBOX MAKEUP</li><li>HATCH BEAUTY</li><li>Mattel</li><li>Wet Seal</li><li>Fabletics</li><li>and many more etc..</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Remote Internship</li><li>Asynchronous</li><li>Weekly deadlines</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Self-Starter - meaning you can do tasks on your own without direction</li><li>Multi-tasking - meaning working on 2 computers at once etc</li><li>Ability to work in a team and delegate tasks</li><li>Comfortable and professional phone demeanor</li><li>Keen eye for detail</li><li>Sense of humor/ friendly (not uptight)</li><li>Flexible but yet efficient/ pliable (meaning if we tell you to work do so with a smile on your face)</li><li>Knowledge of the MAC/Photoshop/Word</li><li>Internet savvy platform</li><li>Reliable with own form of transportation</li><li>Natural Problem Solving Ability</li></ul>Tasks you will learn include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Desk work (computer, scanner, saving and archiving/organizing/ titling all imagery etc).</li><li>REQUIRED- own scanner or access to a scanner or free do it yourself scanning at local library MEMORY LABS to scan prints/negatives/slides from 35mm to 6x7 negs</li></ul>Other Inquiries and Notes:<ul><li>Strictly for experience or students seeking class credit</li><li>STRONGLY preferred current college student or recent graduate</li><li>We look forward to learning and laughing with you!</li></ul>Philosophy :The amount of patience and time it takes to teach someone with very little experience would never equate to an experienced professional (over 2+years) because the skills and ability is nowhere near that of a seasoned professional; this is why we teach what you don&rsquo;t know and that takes time. Most other internships do not take that one on one time.
