Kimley-Horn is looking for an experienced, public sector-focused Project Accountant to join our Richardson, TX office! This is not a remote position.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Monthly financial analysis and on-going revenue recognition</li><li>
Work with Project Managers in a variety of disciplines</li><li>
Meeting multiple critical deadlines on a monthly basis</li><li>
Ensure all billing transactions are completed and accurately recorded in MIS system</li><li>
Prepare invoices and complete monthly billing</li><li>
Contract management and review</li><li>
Coordinate and pursue receivables</li><li>
Monthly travel to other offices within the region</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry</li><li>
Public sector accounting experience is also a plus</li><li>
Bachelors or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree</li><li>
Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals</li><li>
High degree of professionalism and strong people skills</li><li>
Must be an excellent team player</li><li>
Strong knowledge of Excel and Word required</li><li>
Experience using computerized accounting systems</li></ul>

Project Accountant

Kimley-Horn is looking for Engineering graduates to join our Charlotte, North Carolina (NC) office in 2025! This is not a remote position.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.</li><li>
Contribute to the pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects ranging in size and scope.</li><li>
Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients&rsquo; visions for the future built environment.</li><li>
Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn&rsquo;s and our client&rsquo;s practices, procedures, and standards.</li><li>
Analysts will learn one or more software programs specific to their disciplines: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and/or GIS.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2025 in one of the following majors:<ul><li>
Civil and/or Environmental Engineering</li><li>
Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering</li><li>

Civil Engineering Analyst

Kimley-Horn is looking for a CAD Operator to join our Fort Myers, Florida (FL)! This is not a remote position.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>The person in this position will use basic computer drafting software to generate site plans and construction drawings for Kimley-Horn projects</li><li>
Designing and producing sets of plans; implementing and managing AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards</li><li>
Assists in maintaining drawing database</li><li>
Performs routine analysis to check accuracy of data</li><li>
Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn&rsquo;s practices, procedures, and standards</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)</li><li>
1+ years of relevant experience</li><li>
Proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products preferred</li><li>
Experience in Civil3D a plus</li><li>
Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter</li><li>
Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn</li><li>
