Kimley-Horn's Fort Myers office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Transportation Planning and Traffic team! This is not a remote position.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Perform traffic engineering and project management tasks to deliver a wide variety of transportation planning, transit, traffic engineering, safety, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) projects for many, diverse clients</li><li>
Has an entrepreneurial spirit, creating a vision for growth in their personal practice while contributing to the growth of our well-established transportation engineering practice</li><li>
Manage their projects profitably, engage in hands-on practice and delivery of projects, transition work to qualified staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor</li><li>
Contribute significantly to marketing and business development efforts and have the autonomy to pursue their own passions, leads, and clients</li><li>
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projects</li><li>
You will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationships</li><li>
You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>4+ years of relevant engineering experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering and design, traffic operations, and/or ITS planning and design</li><li>
Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)</li><li>
Proficiency in Synchro, HCS, and/or Vissim software applications desired</li><li>
Ability to work in a team environment, balance priorities among multiple projects, and effectively communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organization</li><li>
Ability to manage and mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner</li><li>
Ability to provide high-quality deliverables with exceptional client service</li><li>
Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, developing scopes of work, and assembling budgets for projected work</li></ul>

This HR Partner opportunity is an office-based role in our new St. Louis Park office at 600 Highway 169 South, St. Louis Park, MN.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Propose solutions and engage partners in the areas of retention efforts, general employee relations support, performance management, terminations, teambuilding, complaint/conflict resolution, and career development</li><li>
Conduct new hire orientations and lead the integration planning for new hires at all levels</li><li>
Serve as a benefits point-of-contact by responding to questions and educating employees on company benefit programs</li><li>
Manage leaves of absence, including FMLA and workers&rsquo; compensation</li><li>
Develop and facilitate multiple training programs</li><li>
Manage special projects that have region-wide and/or company-wide impact</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>5+ years of related experience including employee relations experience</li><li>
Bachelors (or Masters degree) in Human Resources or related field</li><li>
Day travel is required to support the needs of the region, approximately 20%; overnight travel required occasionally</li><li>
Knowledge of federal and state labor and employment law</li><li>
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and HRIS systems</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal communication, presentation, and relationship building</li><li>
Excellent organization and follow-through skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited daily supervision</li><li>
Ability and desire to work collaboratively with team members within the region, as well as across the firm, to meet goals</li><li>
Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent internal and external client service</li><li>
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP strongly preferred</li></ul><div>
Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000</div><div>
Depending on applicable experience.</div>
