<div>The Licensed Psychologist (LP) provides diagnostic evaluation services for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions, produces comprehensive psychological reports, and facilitates seamless care coordination between diagnostic and therapeutic services within KBH's integrated behavioral health model.</div>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Role Responsibilities</b></h3><ul>
<li>Conduct comprehensive autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based assessment tools and protocols</li>
<li>Administer, score, and interpret psychological tests and observational measures appropriate for ASD and developmental disability evaluations</li>
<li>Write detailed, clinically sound psychological evaluation reports that meet professional standards and regulatory requirements</li>
<li>Deliver evaluation findings and recommendations to families, caregivers, and referring providers in a clear and compassionate manner</li>
<li>Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), RBTs, intake, and other KBH team members to ensure smooth care transitions from diagnostics to ABA services</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with KBH policies and professional standards</li>
<li>Travel to KBH clinic locations throughout the Triangle, Fayetteville, Wilmington, and Charlotte to conduct in-person assessments</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications</b></h3><ul>
<li><i>PhD </i>in Psychology from an accredited program, required.</li>
<li>1-2 years clinical experience conducting psychological evaluations, preferably with ASD populations, required.</li>
<li>2+ years direct experience with autism diagnostic tools, required.</li>
<li>Active LP credential in North Carolina, required.</li>
<li>Experience working in pediatric or developmental disability settings, required.</li>
<li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to clinic locations: Approximately 25% of work time involves travel outside the diagnostician's home market</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Technical Competencies</b></h3><ul>
<li>Proficiency in administering and interpreting standardized psychological and developmental assessment instruments</li>
<li>Knowledge of DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria, particularly for ASD and related neurodevelopmental conditions</li>
<li>Competence with autism-specific diagnostic tools (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R, M-CHAT, SCQ)</li>
<li>Strong report-writing skills with ability to synthesize assessment data into comprehensive, actionable reports</li>
<li>Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and treatment approaches (preferred)</li>
<li>Electronic health record (EHR) and documentation systems proficiency</li>
