These movements may start or end at an above ground storage tank, marine vessel, tank truck, or pipeline and can also involve various air pollution control devices, leak detection, and waste control protocols. Kinder Morgan Curtis Bay is a continuous operation that conducts liquid product movements 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This job is subject to regulation by various agencies including the Department of Transportation (DOT) and US Coast Guard.

</p><p></p><div><div><ul><li>Assuring the safety of workforce and safekeeping of customer product.</li><li>
Developing, implementing, and assuring compliance with company policies and procedure.</li><li>
Assuring compliance with governmental regulations, i.e.; EPA , DOT, MDE, US Coast Guard, etc.</li><li>
Managing the terminal&rsquo;s operating expenses efficiently and responsibly.</li><li>
Assisting in the planning and administration of the facility&rsquo;s human resources policies and programs, Including: job requisitions, interviewing, hiring, etc.</li><li>
Ensure organization is operating in compliance with union and commercial contracts.</li><li>
Managing and developing employees through a defined performance management program; i.e., reward &amp; recognition, corrective actions as required.</li><li>
Oversee the execution of the department&rsquo;s training program.</li><li>
Development of operators through training coaching and mentoring.</li><li>
Assuring customer product quality is maintained through lab services direction.</li><li>
Coordinating with Customer Service, Finance, Maintenance, and Engineering departments; i.e., follow up on work orders, work processes, product inventory, invoice approval etc.</li><li>
Maintaining communications with customers concerning their operational needs and inquiries.</li><li>
Assisting the Commercial group in managing customer relationships including new business, contract renewals, expansion of current business, and business review management.</li><li>
Assuring quality and reliability of the associated IT, operational, and pipeline systems..</li><li>
Making wage increase recommendations in accordance with company guidelines and standards.</li><li>
Managing and monitoring manpower/vacations.</li><li>
Monitoring /Reviewing OT to ensure compliance with operational requirement and the budget.</li><li>
Operational experience including 5 years of supervisory or management experience</li><li>
Job level and pay commensurate with experience and skill set</li><li>

Superintendent - Operations

</div><ul><li>Administrative Specialist for GPL - West - Division 3 Operations.</li></ul><div><br>
</div><div>Essential duties and responsibilities:
</div><ul><li>Assist Area Manager and Area Supervisors in preparing, tracking, and managing the operational and capital budgets
</li><li>Prepare invoices and enter into Lawson accounting system
</li><li>Generate contracts, prepare general service agreements, work directives and request for services or materials
</li><li>Time sheet review and entry into the HBS payroll system, maintain records including tracking of lost time, vacations and other employee records
</li><li>Data entry for training records into the OQ ISNetworld program and tracking of company fleet vehicles
</li><li>Actively participate in safety programs and initiatives
</li><li>Maintain filing system for general office and DOT forms
</li><li>Generate requisitions and do receiving in Lawson Procurement System
</li><li>Reconcile and enter individual expense report coding into Lawson software
</li><li>Inventory management including issuing, transferring, and auditing stock.

Operate, troubleshoot, &amp; maintain drum &amp; IBC (tote) filling stations, belt driven conveyor systems, industrial forklifts, manual &amp; automated equipment/instruments. Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.<br>
 </p><div></div><p>-Ensure proper selection, quality inspection, &amp; inventory of customer supplied empty packages (drums &amp; IBC&rsquo;s).</p><div></div><ul><li><br>
Safely &amp; efficiently operate belt driven conveyor systems to load empty packages for the correct fill station.</li></ul><div></div><ul><li><br>
Ensure proper label application to empty packages (verify label matches work order, labels are error free, &amp; applied in a presentable manner).</li></ul><div></div><ul><li><br>
Operate a 2-sided drummer filler station via an HMI (PLC) including but not limited to; physical package adjustment &amp; observation, application of sequence numbering, and verification of fill weights.</li></ul><div><br>

Operate an industrial forklift with various attachments such as: drum grabbers, hoppers, &amp; slings to palletize packages and stage in warehouse locations, empty trash, and other duties as defined.</li></ul><div></div><ul><li><br>
Repackage damaged drums and totes.</li></ul><div></div><ul><li><br>
Pump liquid chemicals from drums and totes to a storage tank via a pneumatic diaphragm pump.</li></ul><div></div><ul><li><br>

Operate pneumatic, manual, and motorized valves to direct proper flow paths of liquid chemicals, nitrogen, steam, and utility water.</li></ul><div></div><ul><li><br>
