We are seeking a reliable, hands‑on Shop &amp; Office Technician to support daily operations across equipment repair, fabrication, material preparation, and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of mechanical work, shop organization, and basic office responsibilities.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Electric Tool Repair &amp; Maintenance &mdash; Diagnose and repair electric hand tools; perform routine maintenance on shop equipment.</li><li>Equipment &amp; Facility Upkeep &mdash; Conduct regular inspections, identify issues, and complete minor repairs to keep the shop safe and operational.</li><li>Steel Prep &amp; Coating &mdash; Prep, clean, and prime structural steel components; assist with light fabrication and assembly work.</li><li>Fabrication Support &mdash; Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, and other light fabrication tasks as needed.</li><li>Shop Safety &amp; Inspections &mdash; Maintain a clean, organized workspace; complete scheduled safety checks and documentation.</li><li>Inventory &amp; Ordering &mdash; Track materials and supplies, place orders, and maintain stock levels.</li><li>Pick‑Up &amp; Delivery &mdash; Transport tools, materials, and parts between vendors, job sites, and the shop using company vehicles.</li><li>Office Support &mdash; Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and vendor communication.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Experience repairing electric hand tools or mechanical equipment.</li><li>Basic fabrication skills (cutting, grinding, drilling, priming, etc.).</li><li>Ability to read and follow safety procedures and inspection checklists.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with clean driving record.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.</li><li>Comfortable using basic computer applications for ordering and recordkeeping.</li></ul>Preferred (Not Required)<ul><li>Experience in a fabrication, welding, or industrial shop environment.</li><li>Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it.</li><li>Knowledge of structural steel preparation and coatings.</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience</li><li>Steady full‑time schedule</li><li>Training and growth opportunities</li><li>Supportive team environment</li></ul>Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
