Job Advertisement: Material CoordinatorWe are currently seeking a high-skilled and motivated Material Coordinator to join our team at Kinequip to assist in the manufacturing of complex, high-precision products for specialty vehicles, lighting and other markets.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Monitor material requirements and ensure timely replenishment.</li><li>Conduct purchase orders based on internal forecasting and demand.</li><li>Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to meet schedules.</li><li>Communicate with vendors regarding delivery schedules and resolve shortages or delays.</li><li>Assist in sourcing alternative suppliers when necessary</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory records in systems.</li><li>Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.</li><li>Inventory investigations on reconciled inventory and pricing .</li><li>Prepare and maintain logs, transfer sheets, and shipping documents.</li><li>Assist with quoting, shipping and other operational duties as needed.</li><li>Support cross-functional teams to improve material flow and reduce downtime.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum Education - 2 year Associates Degree</li><li>The can-do attitude with a desire to learn new skills and tackle complex tasks in a dynamic manufacturing environment.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in Operations</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in Inventory management</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time</li><li>Forklift operation</li></ul>We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within our organization.
