<br>This is a Term Limited Temporary position that is funded through August 2026 The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is seeking to hire a motivated individual as a Victim Advocate to join our office. The ideal candidate will be working in the Regional Mental Health/Regional Veteran's Court. Mental Health Court is a specialized court responsible for handling cases where the defendant has mental health issues. The Victim Advocate will work within the unit to provide advocacy and coordinate with the Mental Health Court and its staff. Carry a partial caseload, requiring excellent legal representation and trial skills, excellent rapport with clients, strong legal research, strong negotiation skills and all necessary skills required of a caseload-carrying attorney.</li><li>
Maintain and update, as needed, a computerized case-management system to track caseloads and individual assignments. Have a working knowledge of the case management system and learn to utilize reports to evaluate and support the work of the unit.</li><li>
Identify cases that present an ethical conflict of interest for the Department of Public Defense.</li><li>
Work with Director's Office to ensure unit employees have the training and resources they need to do their jobs well.</li><li>

Serve at least twice a year on call and supervise the on-call attorneys.</li><li>

King County Fleet Services Division is looking for a Parts Specialist (Inventory Purchasing Specialist II). In this position, you will oversee the procurement and receipt of parts and supplies for a store's facility. Key responsibilities include managing inventory through an automated system, ensuring accurate tracking and organization of stock. The inventory includes a diverse range of items such as light and heavy-duty automotive and equipment parts, building and road construction materials, traffic control products, and safety supplies.</p><p><b>
ABOUT FLEET SERVICES DIVISION</b></p><p>
The Fleet Services Division manages King County&rsquo;s portfolio of vehicles and equipment. The team performs acquisition, maintenance, repair, replacement, and disposal of approximately 3,000 fleet assets for the County&rsquo;s services associated with the Sheriff&rsquo;s Office, Public Health, Roads, Parks, Wastewater, Water and Land Resources, and other agencies. The division manages two maintenance shops which include robust storerooms of automotive parts, materials, and construction supplies as well as several technicians working in the field to support remote customer sites.</p><p>
In addition, the Fleet Division is responsible for the disposition of the county&rsquo;s personal property assets, which includes a surplus warehouse in Georgetown. If you are looking for the ability to grow in the electrical field, this opportunity will utilize and expand your electrical maintenance skills working on a large variety of systems and projects. As a mission critical employee our efforts directly support operations as we collaborate with other plant crafts to resolve issues and achieve common goals.<br>

This position performs a variety of highly skilled journey-level work by constructing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and wiring a wide variety of equipment and conducts preventive maintenance programs at a wastewater collection and treatment facility, including pumping and regulating stations. This role will work both independently and in collaboration with other electricians, other skilled trades and industrial plant operations staff. To ensure a safe work environment, this role will use appropriate PPE and proper Lock-Out Tag Out procedures around electrical, mechanical, and environmental hazards, including working in Permit-Required Confined Spaces.<br>

The incumbent will serve as a member of the BHRD Information and Data Systems Team (BIDS) and will act as a liaison between end-users, information technology analysts and vendors in helpdesk support, functional analysis, design, configuration, testing and aid the data systems developers in the maintenance of applications to ensure optimum system performance. Will collect, analyze, develop, document, communicate business requirements, proactively support system users and assist with system testing to achieve business goals. TELEWORKING REQUIREMENT:</b></p><p>

Analyzes service providers&rsquo; operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities for improvements and to target technical assistance to the provider&rsquo;s needs.
