We&rsquo;re looking for a skilled Fabrication Supervisor who enjoys developing their team and greets challenges with a &ldquo;let&rsquo;s figure it out&rdquo; attitude. This is not a desk job &ndash; you&rsquo;ll spend most of your day on the shop floor moving between work centers.
Pay starts at $35.00 per hour, based on experience, and benefits include PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, and a 401k with up to 4% match.
What you&rsquo;ll do as the Fabrication Supervisor:<ul><li>
Oversee daily shop floor operations and guide Fabrication &amp; Paint team members with a hands-on approach.</li><li>
Ensure production teams have what they need to meet production goals and uphold quality standards.</li><li>
Manage employee performance including delivery of reviews and improvement plans.</li><li>
Ensure seamless flow of manufacturing orders (MOs) by aligning available capacity to production needs.</li><li>
Investigate and resolve production quality or machine maintenance issues.</li><li>
Develop working knowledge of fabrication related machinery and processes including sheet metal punching, forming, rivet, spot-welding, laser, and paint.</li><li>
Work closely with other departments to maintain smooth operations and quickly resolve challenges.</li><li>
Monitor production metrics; assist in reporting on efficiency, quality, and throughput.</li><li>
Use Lean tools, like A3s, 5 Why, and Root Cause Analysis, to manage daily work and actively engage your team in continuous improvement efforts.</li><li>
Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 6S principles.</li><li>
Work safely. Be a good example of safety best practices and enforce proper PPE usage.</li><li>
Be on-time for every scheduled shift - reliable attendance is a must!</li></ul>

Requirements:
<ul><li>At least 2 years&rsquo; experience in a leadership role directly overseeing 5 or more employees. Experience from non-manufacturing industries (e.g., retail or restaurant) is acceptable.</li><li>
At least 2 years&rsquo; experience with hands-on metal fabrication or metal shop work is strongly preferred.</li><li>
Ability to read/interpret technical drawings and bills of material (BOMs) is preferred.</li><li>
Strong communication skills. You&rsquo;ll work with and lead people from a wide range of backgrounds.</li><li>
Passion for motivating people, instilling accountability, and achieving results.</li><li>
Comfortable using standard computer programs like Excel, Word, and Outlook.</li><li>
Ability to effectively delegate work to the team.</li><li>
Read, write, speak, create, understand, and explain English directions, documents, safety rules, etc.</li><li>
Ability to use analytical skills, critical thinking, and intermediate math skills to solve complex problems.</li><li>
Bonus points if you have prior experience applying Lean methods to daily operations, and/or have experience using an ERP system like Microsoft Dynamics GP.</li></ul>

Pay &amp; Benefits<ul><li>
The full pay range for this position is $35.00 to $43.00 per hour. New hires typically start between $35.00 to $39.00 per hour, based on relevant experience, education, and training, as well as market and business considerations.</li><li>
Medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus 401(k) with up to 4% match.</li><li>
Two weeks of paid time off plus paid holidays.</li></ul>
Hours &amp; Address<ul><li>
This is a 100% on-site, full-time opportunity working 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday, plus overtime as needed.</li><li>
