<div>What to Expect in the Role:
<ul><li>Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
</li><li>Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
</li><li>Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
</li><li>Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
</li><li>Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
</li><li>Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
</li><li>Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
</li><li>Works with management to coordinate terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
</li><li>Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
</li><li>Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
</li><li>Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
</li><li>Assist management with recruiting process as needed. Track candidates&rsquo; pre-employment screenings and inform management when a hire is eligible to start.
</li><li>Work with the management team to determine staffing requirements and generate new job descriptions and job postings.
</li><li>Assist/support FMLA, short-term disability administration,
</li><li>Coordinate company&rsquo;s Service Awards and employee recognition program for assigned business unit.
</li><li>Ensure that all activities, employment practices, forms and postings are in compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations.
</li><li>Administer Worker&rsquo;s Comp claims reporting and related workplace safety initiatives for business unit.
</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned.

</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
</li><li>Proven ability to handle confidential information and sensitive issues in a professional manner.
</li><li>Effective group presentation skills.
</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or equivalent HR experience in a corporate environment.
</li><li>Minimum five years HR experience.</li></ul></div>
