The engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks, including overseeing mechanical systems, designing and maintaining machinery, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software, managing projects, and conducting research and development (R&amp;D) activities.1. Operation &amp; Monitoring<ul><li>Supervise LNG unloading operations from tankers to storage tanks.</li><li>Ensure safe and efficient functioning of LNG/LCNG equipment such as cryogenic pumps, vaporizers, compressors, dispensers, PRS (Pressure Regulating Systems), and piping.</li><li>Monitor process parameters (pressure, temperature, flow, levels) and maintain daily logs.</li><li>Ensure a continuous supply of CNG through the LCNG compression and dispensing system.</li><li>Handle control systems, PLC/SCADA monitoring, and report abnormalities.</li></ul>2. Maintenance Activities<ul><li>Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of all LNG &amp; LCNG station equipment.</li><li>Troubleshoot breakdowns and coordinate with OEM/vendors for specialized repair work.</li><li>Maintain records of calibration of flow meters, gas detectors, PRVs, and safety valves.</li><li>Ensure readiness and functionality of safety systems (ESD, fire-fighting system, alarms, detectors).</li></ul>3. Safety &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Enforce strict compliance with safety protocols, OISD/PNGRB guidelines, and company SOPs.</li><li>Conduct daily safety inspections and participate in mock drills.</li><li>Ensure PPE usage and safe working practices by staff and contractors.</li><li>Coordinate statutory inspections with PESO and other regulatory bodies.</li></ul>4. Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Maintain records of daily operations, stock management, unloading, and dispensing data.</li><li>Prepare incident/near-miss reports and propose corrective actions.</li><li>Submit daily/weekly/monthly O&amp;M reports to management.</li></ul>5.
