The Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), under the supervision of the Physician, is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. Under a physician&rsquo;s supervision, the PA/NP is responsible for the delivery of a broad range of medical services, including taking medical histories, conducting physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, administering treatments (e.g., suturing, casting and minor surgery), monitoring patients, prescribing medications, assisting physicians, and counseling and educating patients. 
Advanced Practice Provider Qualifications:<ul><li>
Current unrestricted certification and/or licensure</li><li>
Previous medical office or FQHC experience preferred.</li><li>
CPR, and all applicable certifications required (must be obtained within 30 days of employment).</li><li>
Knowledgeable in population health management in the underserved and/or vulnerable populations</li><li>
Understands ethics of confidentiality.</li><li>
Previous computer experience or training required.</li><li>
Successful candidate must submit to TB testing and any vaccinations recommended by OSHA Guidelines.</li><li>
Sets an example as a medical professional by observing work start and stop times, giving adequate notice for absences, and following clinic&rsquo;s operational and personnel policies and procedures.</li><li>
Able to communicate and relate well with patients, providers and clinical staff.</li><li>
Maintains current and unrestricted licensure and certification including meeting and/or exceeding CME requirements.</li><li>

Education: Graduation from an accredited program. Current State of North Carolina PA or NP licensure/certification required. Current DEA certificate required. Board Certification if applicable. 
Advanced Practice Provider Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Engages in a patient-centered approach to providing care for patients and their families</li><li>
Provides medical evaluation and treatment using standard medical procedures as part of the clinical care team. Responds to emergencies and answers medical questions.</li><li>
Obtains and documents or causes to be obtained and documented; appropriate chief complaint, past medical, family and social history, review of systems, examination, medications and allergies, assessment and plan for each patient, providing patient education as needed.</li><li>
Provides medical orders for prescription refills, administration of medications, ancillary testing, and/or referrals as needed to patients</li><li>
Reviews ancillary test results in a timely manner and coordinates notification and follow-up to the patients.</li><li>
Supervises patient care by non-clinic agencies such as specialty providers, home health care, nursing home, or hospice.</li><li>
Available to patients personally or through clinical staff to answer questions and relay information regarding their care.</li><li>
Completion of all appropriate paperwork in a timely manner, including documentation to comply with insurance and reimbursement guidelines.</li><li>
Educates patients and/or families as to the nature of disease, provides instruction on proper care, self-management and treatment, and works with patient to develop an individualized care plan.</li><li>
Actively participates in the QI process by reviewing peer charts when appropriate and gives feedback to peers to support a culture of peer education and continual learning</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned by his/her supervising physician, the Medical Director, Practice Manager and/or members of the Kintegra Health executive leadership team.</li></ul>

Position Summary 
The Provider Trainer is an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who divides their time between direct patient care as a float provider and delivering EPIC training and workflow support to clinical providers. This role develops, maintains, and delivers provider onboarding training while working closely with Medical Staff, Quality, Health Information Management, and operational teams. Responsibilities include optimizing provider use of clinical software systems, supporting documentation standards, and ensuring compliance with Federal and State requirements. This position provides coverage across clinics in Davidson, Davie, and Iredell Counties and reports to the Director of Provider Training and Development.
This is a full‑time position that requires significant travel within the service area.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>
Provide direct patient care in service area, in a float position, across Davidson, Davie, and Iredell Counties.</li><li>
Maintain knowledge of the organization&rsquo;s electronic health record (EPIC) and related clinical software.</li><li>
Provide workflow and clinical systems training to new and existing providers to improve competence and confidence in documentation and system use.</li><li>
Plan and implement the provider training and orientation schedule.</li><li>
Develop and maintain training materials, policies, and procedures related to EHR usage.</li><li>
Collaborate with:<ul><li>
Quality: to incorporate regulatory and policy training.</li><li>
Health Information Management: to integrate coding and documentation standards.</li><li>
Orientation stakeholders: to coordinate onboarding activities.</li></ul></li><li>
Communicate training evaluation outcomes to the Team Lead and Medical Director.</li><li>
Provide ongoing support related to updated processes, system enhancements, and documentation requirements.</li><li>
Ensure providers maintain patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with regulatory standards.</li><li>
Maintain adherence to all minimum qualifications, required skills, and responsibilities applicable to Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant roles.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising medical doctor.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Minimum Qualifications</h2><ul><li>
At least 2 years' Pediatric and Adult care experience as an APP required.</li><li>
Experience working with underserved and/or vulnerable populations.</li><li>
Understanding of confidentiality and medical ethics.</li><li>
Prior computer and EHR experience (EPIC preferred).</li><li>
Ability to maintain effective working relationships.</li><li>
Knowledge of standards of medical care.</li><li>
Organized, efficient, and accurate in work processes.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
