This part time position is Monday thru Friday with every other weekend. Schedule is from 5:30/6:00 AM to 9:30/10:00 AM There may be times we start as early as 4:00AM. The first few weeks you may work 5-hour days due to training.Responsibilities:<ul><li>The Groundskeeper reports to the Superintendent and is responsible for performing work related to the care and maintenance of the golf course and grounds</li><li>Operate basic equipment to maintain and groom grounds, perform routine maintenance and clean equipment daily</li><li>Perform landscaping duties to ensure course landscaping is healthy and attractive; water, fertilize, edge, rake, weed, etc.</li><li>Perform routine golf course operations activities; set tee markers and cups, maintain ball washes, replace tee towels and flags, remove trash and debris, mark hazard and drop areas, etc</li><li>Assist with cart control; mark course, move cart barriers, maintain ropes and signs, etc</li><li>Assist with course improvement projects; construction of new greens, tees, and fairways, preparing and seeding soil, constructing walkways and paths, etc</li><li>Use riding lawn mowers to cut turf areas.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul>Part-time year round. Applicants possess the ability to lift up to 50lbs. and work in adverse weather conditions.Benefits: Sick time, golfing privileges on Monday.
