 Team Overview
 
 
 
 KKR&rsquo;s Legal &amp; Compliance team is integral to all matters pertaining to trading, anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, etc., to protect the firm, our clients and investors, and our reputation. The team advises on agreements, fund related aspects, compliance, oversight, monitoring, and reporting of the firm&rsquo;s trading platform and all activities. Additionally, the Legal &amp; Compliance team drafts and updates KKR&rsquo;s policies and procedures to ensure accountability for legal and regulatory requirements and adherence to our high ethical standards. The team provides support to KKR employees by advising on and creating precautions for personal conflicts matters including social media usage, personal investing, outside business activities, etc.
 
 
 
 Position Summary
 
 
 
 The current role is an individual contributor role, and would entail supporting KKR&rsquo;s large, diversified, and growing platform of alternative investment vehicles, with focus on distribution agreements, placement agent agreements, etc. The counsel shall work across all geographies and all KKR products.
 
 
 
 Roles &amp; Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 To provide legal support for a large, diversified and growing platform of alternative investment vehicles, with a focus on the distribution or offering of KKR fund interests through third parties.
 </li>
 <li>
 Own and manage the process of entering into distribution and similar agreements for KKR funds, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements, coordinating with outside counsel and various internal groups, and advising internal stakeholders on related matters.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversight and management of compliance matters related to such agreements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as a central legal resource for internal stakeholders and external vendors/law firms on existing agreements and potential new arrangements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and update template agreements, playbooks, and negotiation positions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain internal trackers, logs, and repositories for distribution agreements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle ad hoc legal projects, including agreements or fund-related arrangements that arise as the platform evolves.

 Qualifications

 B. degree in Law with 7+ years of work experience in asset management at either a major law firm or investment management organization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of the following are a plus:

 Anti-money laundering / know-your-customer laws, regulations, and processes

 S. federal securities laws (e.g., Investment Advisers Act of 1940; Securities Act of 1933; Securities Exchange Act of 1934; Investment Company Act of 1940) as they apply to private funds

 Position Overview
 
 
 
 KKR is seeking an Employee Relations professional to join the Human Capital Team, based in its Boston office. This individual will be responsible for managing complex employee relations matters with a focus on risk mitigation, employee engagement and compliance. This individual will be part of a global team who will partner closely with Human Capital Business Partners, Talent Development, Benefits, and Legal and Compliance teams to provide guidance to leadership, managers, Human Capital team members and employees on employee matters, including best practices, conflict resolution, policy interpretation and internal investigations.
 
 
 
 Essential Duties And Key Responsibilities

 Function as the subject matter expert on employee relations across the firm ensuring consistent, practical and compliant outcomes for escalated employee relations matters

 Conduct thorough and impartial internal investigations into complaints, grievances and policy violations, including preparing and reviewing documentation, interview notes and summary of findings, and preparing for and conducting witness interviews alongside legal counsel and/or Human Capital colleagues

 Investigate potential violations of policies and monitor and/or address employee behavior throughout the firm; ensure a consistent and fair approach firmwide

 Partner with legal counsel (internal and external) to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across global jurisdictions

 Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field is highly desirable

 Expert-level understanding of HR policies and procedures, Federal and state employment laws, and compliance and reporting requirements
