Our caring and passionate staff foster a nurturing space where children are empowered as active partners in their learning journey.Job Summary We are seeking energetic and dedicated Summer Camp Counselors to create a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children during our summer programs. In this role, you will lead activities, support children&rsquo;s development, and ensure a positive camp experience for all participants. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds while developing valuable skills in childcare, education, and leadership.Duties<ul><li>Lead and facilitate a variety of camp activities including sports, arts, theater, and outdoor games to promote active participation and fun.</li><li>Supervise children closely to ensure safety and well-being at all times, applying effective behavior management techniques.</li><li>Support children&rsquo;s social-emotional development through positive reinforcement and Christian counseling principles when appropriate.</li><li>Assist with classroom management and organize age-appropriate educational activities aligned with childhood development standards.</li><li>Administer basic first aid when necessary and communicate any health or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.</li><li>Collaborate with fellow staff members to plan daily schedules that incorporate creative learning experiences and recreational fun.</li><li>Maintain a welcoming environment that encourages teamwork, respect, and inclusivity among campers.</li><li>Comfortable driving (valid driver&rsquo;s license required**)</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, babysitting, or summer camps is preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies is highly desirable.</li><li>Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus; willingness to obtain certification upon hire is expected.</li><li>Background in special education or early childhood education will be advantageous.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children and support their individual needs.
