Must be able to work independently, using knowledge of industry and/or professional guidelines and protocols to accomplish goals and objectives and solve problems of diverse scope. The position requires team leadership, project management, business development, and client engagement in support of our clients in Georgia, and the Carolinas.</div><div></div><div><br>
The successful candidate will be highly technical with excellent data management and regulatory interpretation skills, strategic thinking to identify and apply logical solutions, ability to understand and apply engineering calculations and quality control procedures, good writing and organization capabilities, ability to work independently or as part of a larger group with capacity to support multiple assignments. The ideal candidate will have a seller-doer mentality and be able to engage Clients, deliver value and generate additional opportunities,</div><div></div><div><br>
This position may be based out of Atlanta, Georgia or Charlotte, or Raleigh North Carolina, and includes the potential for partial remote work. Some overnight travel may be required for this position.</div><p></p><p><b><br>
Significant experience in the following is ideal for this position:</b></p><br>

Air quality permitting, emissions inventories, Title V, and NESHAP compliance including NSR and BACT evaluations.
</li><li>Select and recommend techniques, procedures and criteria to perform technical tasks, studies and analysis;</li><li>
Prepare wastewater permit applications;</li><li>
Prepare SWPPP and SPCC Plans;</li><li>
Project management experience;</li><li>
Conduct multi-media environmental compliance audits; and</li><li>

Step into Your New Role</b></div><div>
Kleinfelder is seeking talented Civil Engineers/Designers to work on challenging and exciting site-civil design land development projects (both public and private) in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Reporting to the Hunt Valley, Maryland office, successful candidates will perform engineering tasks in the site-civil engineering field through application of relevant design criteria, standards, and processes.<br>
</div><div><b>
Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Design all aspects of engineering projects to include layout, grading, earthwork, storm drain, septic, sanitary sewer, water, storm water management, and erosion/sediment control</li><li>
Perform field investigations to determine existing conditions</li><li>
Prepare agency design submission packages for agency reviews and approvals</li><li>
Participate with permitting at the local, state, and Federal level and the completion of as-constructed/as-built drawings</li><li>
Interpret and apply all applicable federal, state and/or local codes</li><li>
Draft technical specifications</li><li>
Occasionally travel to project/client sites to complete tasks or attend meetings</li></ul><div>

Qualifications:</b></div><div>

BSCE from an ABET accredited engineering program</li><li>
A minimum of 4-8 years of relevant design experience in the site-civil engineering field</li><li>
EIT Certification
</li><li>PE or ability to obtain a PE within the next 6 months</li><li>
AutoCAD skills required<br>
Civil 3D experience highly desirable</li><li>
Excellent written and oral communication skills</li><li>
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office</li><li>
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, project managers, supervisors, and other team members</li><li>
Valid driver's license with demonstrated safe driving practices</li><li>

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Maryland Wage Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $81,000.00 - $109,000.00 per year.</div><div></div><div><b><i><br>
