We&rsquo;re looking for an <b>Electrician Apprentice Intern</b> for the summer of 2026 that is serious about a career in manufacturing. The Opportunity</i></b></div><div></div><div><br>
As an <b>Electrician Apprentice Intern</b>, you&rsquo;ll work closely with our Electrical &amp; Controls Supervisor and other members of our maintenance, electrical, and controls teams.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Daily Duties and Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Care for and repair all electrically powered/monitored devices and equipment within an industrial processing setting. This includes:<ul><li>
Work order execution</li><li>
New installations (conduit and wiring)</li><li>
Motor/device testing</li><li>
Controls I/O testing</li><li>
Field troubleshooting</li><li>
Replacement of failed devices and equipment</li><li>
Preventative work orders</li></ul></li><li>
Continuous adherence to safety and food safety best practices</li><li>
Report, communicate, and collaborate with supervisors, managers, and peer departments</li><li>
Attend coaching, teaching, and learning sessions with plant subject matter experts on:<ul><li>
Automation</li><li>
PLC's</li><li>
Medium voltage distribution</li><li>
Arc-flash safety</li><li>
Food Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)</li><li>
Industrial safety</li><li>
Electrical code</li><li>
Low voltage controls (4-20mA)</li><li>
Plant networks</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><div><b><br>
Unique Projects:</b></div><ul><li>
Major equipment installs and project work responsibilities (planning, procuring, layout, and execution of new electrical power and data distribution panels, cabling, wiring and conduit)</li><li>
Equipment commissioning</li></ul><p></p><div><b><br>

At least a second-year student pursuing an Associate Degree in Electrical Technology or a Junior pursuing a Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Electrical Engineering</li><li>
The ability to dedicate 10-12 weeks to the internship program for the summer of 2026</li><li>
A positive attitude and willingness to learn</li><li>
The ability to work in a team atmosphere and be a great co-worker</li><li>
The ability to work on-site at our Perham, MN facility for the summer</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
Interns who demonstrate exceptional performance and a passion for our business may have the opportunity for full-time employment upon graduation.</div><div></div><div><br>
Pay for this position will be a percentage of industry standards based on typical full-time starting salaries and will depend on your year in school and your timeline to graduation.</div></div>
