WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Provide &ldquo;Hand-On&rdquo; leadership to a team of Maintenance Shift Supervisors on a rotating shift-based program. Responsible through direct reports for the development, implementation and day to day supervision of maintenance programs, processes, people, and documentation associated with efficient and High Performing Automated storage and retrieval systems, and storage and picking systems installed at &ldquo;Our Customer&rsquo;s&rdquo; locations and surrounding area. This also includes: Helping build and maintain customer relationships at our customer site/s, understanding and leading our preventive and predictive maintenance programs, leading and following all SOP&rsquo;s, Safety Policies, etc.). Identifying the appropriate time to escalate the issues following the agreed upon escalation procedures. The triggers and the appropriate response level and providing frontline leadership for this process.
Job Summary:<ul><li>
To manage a team providing first class maintenance support to &ldquo;Our Customer&rdquo;; on operation and maintenance of automated storage and retrieval systems, and storage and picking systems installed at our Customers location.</li><li>
It is expected that the holder of this position will possess proven experience of managing an on-site maintenance team that deal with electro-mechanical faults and preventative maintenance operations on automated materials handling equipment within a warehouse environment. Reporting to Maintenance Operations Manager, the Site Maintenance Manager will be eager and determined to succeed, though safety conscious in all activities undertaken, with a track record of owning problems and taking them through to successful completion. In addition, the manager may be required to respond to emergency calls.</li></ul>
Supervisory Overview:<ul><li>
Provides leadership and guidance to your Maintenance Shift Supervisors and your Resident Team.</li><li>
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.</li><li>
Responsibilities include frontline supervision of interviewing, hiring, and training potential site team; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees as a part of the leadership team; addressing complaints and assisting in providing appropriate resolutions.</li></ul><h1 class="jobSectionHeader">
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:</h1>

Through direct reports match tasks with team skill-sets to ensure delivery of defined SLA</li><li>
Manage, as the on-site representative, all system improvements and installations</li><li>
Manage all training requirements, both technical and regulatory</li><li>
Develop on-site staff and resources</li><li>
Increase the scope and efficiency of the Company's support solutions</li><li>
Be an effective manager focused on team development</li><li>
Work against timeframes to complete reactive repairs</li><li>
Interact with on-site and off-site management keeping them informed of local issues and successes and addressing all concerns in a professional manner</li><li>
Provide leadership of Health &amp; Safety considerations with regard to given tasks and be able to carry out risk assessments</li><li>
Help Provide monthly summary and detailed reports covering commercial and technical activities</li><li>
Improve the service level and optimize resource utilisation through adoption of industry best practices</li><li>
Manage the provision of quality support and maintenance services of all live information systems.</li><li>
Help plan and implement system security policy.</li><li>
Through direct reports manage and coordinate the daily activities of all personnel.</li><li>
Appreciation of Cultural Diversity</li><li>
Promote alignment of MHE maintenance objectives</li><li>
Resolve any resourcing issues beyond the control of the Maintenance Shift Supervisor</li><li>
Chair internal Maintenance Team review meetings</li><li>
Help manage process improvements to ensure that the delivery of service increases customer satisfaction</li><li>
Ensures that the Maintenance Team maintains an excellent level of customer satisfaction whilst providing acceptable level of commercial return</li></ul>
