 What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Regularly review plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime.
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly while identifying improvement opportunities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Apply methodologies such as CI, RCA, Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and MS Project for process optimization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and implement Preventive &amp; Predictive Maintenance Plans aligned with TPM principles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan and execute annual maintenance activities for plant equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Initiate and lead projects to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor spare parts usage, inventory, and maintenance supplies; initiate reordering as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare reports, conduct downtime analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain effective communication with maintenance technicians for feedback and issue resolution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Update and maintain operating and training manuals for the maintenance team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Train technicians on updated operating procedures and best practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies during maintenance activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to all legal and statutory maintenance requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead and manage teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee project and maintenance practices, including materials and spare parts management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Interpret mechanical and MEP drawings with precision.
 </li>
 <li>
 Apply knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS codes, NBC).
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilize tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, or Primavera (preferred).
 </li>
 <li>
 Document and file all approvals and inspections accurately.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct quality checks during installation and commissioning activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain technical documentation in both soft and hard copies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as a team player, motivator, and effective networker with a persuasive attitude.
 </li>
 <li>
 Uphold commitment to tasks, Knauf values, and company objectives.

 Communicate fluently in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.

 Mechanical Installation Responsibilities

 Serve as the point of contact for all mechanical installation topics on-site.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise mechanical installation works in line with project schedules, quality standards, and budgets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance of mechanical installation activities with local and national regulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the tendering process for mechanical installation activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with on-site mechanical installation contractors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Verify and approve invoices submitted by mechanical installation companies.

 B. Tech or B.E in Mechanical Engineering. Preferred from Gypsum board manufacturing, Food Industry, Cement Industry and Power plants
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven track record of at least 12- 15 years&rsquo; professional experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Good knowledge of plant equipment and production process of the gypsum sector or similar industry.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong leadership and people management skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 In-depth knowledge of project and maintenance practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, or Primavera.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to read and interpret mechanical and MEP drawings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities.

 What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing

 Safety and Compliance:
 </li>

 Ensure all logistics and dispatch activities, including loading, unloading, and transportation, comply with company, local and international regulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Logistics, Warehousing &amp; EXIM Operation: -
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods from warehouse facilities to customers or warehouses.
 </li>
 <li>
 Optimize transportation routes to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and monitor KPIs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee daily dispatch activities, space optimization, storage management of goods at warehouse.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordination with Sales, transporter, external parties, internal management for day-to-day operation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and customs authorities, freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and other regulatory agencies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Travel to Custom office, tax authority offices, and any relevant authority office as per business need.
 </li>
 <li>
 Travel to plants and warehouses apart from the base location as per requirement basis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory levels and efficient stock management.
 </li>
 <li>
 MIS &amp; Documentations:
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all shipments have proper documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, and compliance certificates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare Export and Commercial documents required for the supply process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with vendors to collect freight bills and send them to the finance team for payment processing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain daily and weekly MIS or trackers and share updates with management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Close the Customer Complaint on time and arrange the Credit Note.
 </li>
 <li>
 Team Leadership:
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise and train 3PL logistics and dispatch staff to enhance productivity and efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reporting and Analysis:
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare, analyze and present regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and key metrics.

 Graduate in any stream. Preference would be given to candidates with Bachelor&rsquo;s/ Post Graduation degrees in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or SCM associated field

 <li>
 7+ years of experience in Logistics, Dispatch, or Supply Chain Management, Export and Import operation, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Manpower Handling: Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively supervise and motivate teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Customer Handling: Proficient in managing internal and external customer relationships with a focus on delivering excellent service and resolving issues efficiently.
 </li>
 <li>
 Transporter Handling: Skilled in managing relationships with transporters, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery, and resolving logistical challenges to maintain smooth operations and cost efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaising with Customs/CHA/Tax Authority: - Ability to present the case to relevant authority coordinate with internal management for closure of open cases.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to Travel: - Capable to travel within state and out of state as per business need
 </li>
 <li>
 Safety awareness and consciousness
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent knowledge of customs, warehouse, logistics process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Power Points, ERP (SAP &amp; Others)
 </li>

 Problem-solving skills.
