 What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Identify, evaluate, select and develop local suppliers (e.g., for raw materials, merchandise items, etc.), service providers and transport companies, maintaining a robust local supplier network.
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiate contracts and agreements and improve cost and price levels as well as delivery schedules.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain supplier quality and performance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Control and optimize procurement costs within the country incl. identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in procurement processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain, Planning, and Logistics Manager as well as the Warehouse Manager to ensure timely material availability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Align procurement activities with production schedules and demand forecasts incl. support the achievement of on-time deliveries and production targets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, laws and ethics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Keep risk exposure within an acceptable level.
 </li>
 <li>
 Measure, analyze and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze data to identify areas for improvement &amp; cost reduction.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead and mentor a procurement team incl. setting clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback.
 </li>
 <li>
 Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Set up procurement procedures and follow improvements in line with global strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support sustainability targets and align the actions with suppliers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage procurement team and increase the collaboration within company/global team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Improve supplier selection, evaluation and improvement process in line with global targets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow supplier performance with quality/operation/requester, follow permanent actions to be closing claims.

 10+ years of relevant experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in supply chain management / procurement,
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills,
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of local market dynamics, supplier landscapes, and industry trends
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in standard supply chain &amp; procurement tools
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and leadership abilities
 </li>
 <li>
 Business-oriented degree such as Economics, Industrial Engineering or any other degree course relating to the supply chain and procurement fields
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work with self-motivation under tight timelines
 </li>
 <li>
 Advance level English proficiency (both written and spoken).
 </li>
 <li>
 Residing in or willing to relocate to Ankara.
