Knight Insurance Group is a specialty property and casualty insurance company based in Los Angeles. We manage a diverse portfolio of commercial and specialty insurance programs, with a strong focus on disciplined underwriting, financial stability, and regulatory compliance.

We are seeking a Regulatory Filings Analyst to support our accounting and compliance teams with statutory and regulatory submissions across multiple jurisdictions. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our insurance entities remain fully compliant with state insurance department requirements and financial reporting deadlines.

Pay Range: $70,000&mdash;$80,000 Per Year. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.

Key Responsibilities:
</div>
<ul><li>Prepare and file quarterly and annual premium tax filings across multiple states.</li>
<li>Coordinate the submission of financial statements, jurat pages, and supplemental filings to regulatory authorities.</li>
<li>Prepare and maintain compulsory and security surplus filings, deposit schedules, and related correspondence.</li>
<li>Track regulatory deadlines and ensure timely, accurate submissions.</li>
<li>Reconcile premium and financial data used in state filings.</li>
<li>Collaborate with accounting, finance, and compliance teams to gather supporting documentation.</li>
<li>Maintain organized filing records and assist during audits or regulatory reviews.</li>
<li>Monitor regulatory bulletins and updates that affect filing requirements.</li>
</ul>
 Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).</li>
<li>2+ years of experience in insurance regulatory filings, premium tax compliance, or statutory accounting preferred.</li>
<li>Familiarity with NAIC reporting, state insurance departments, and regulatory submission portals (e.g., OPTins, SERFF) is a plus.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with statutory reporting systems a plus.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple filing deadlines and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li>
